I decided this conversation was better left off in private. I knew asgore would not hurt frisk so without further explanation I gave asgore a wink and made multiple portals under everyones feet. well everyone except asgore and frisk. the portal lead to the judgment hall a place all sanses and swap papyruses have horrible memories in.

"BROTHER WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? WE WERE HELPING THE HUMAN WITH NEGOTIATIONS!" papyrus said confused. the others were confused as well but they let me explain myself.

"that is a conversation best made in private papyrus you don't have to worry frisk has it covered and if anything happens we are here to help." I explained.

"alright punk I trust you but were did you learn such cool magic! you just moved your hand in the air and we all just got transported here." undyne asked.

"its called portal magic those were portals." I explained.

"p-portals!?" alphys squeaked.

"yes its what I used to help me with getting around when I still had my old job." I explained.

"OH." pap-my brother said softly.

"is everything alright papyrus?" I asked.

"YES EVERYTHING IS JUST FINE BROTHER!" my brother said with new found determination. before I could ask further questions he started a new subject it was about all the things we would do once we get to the surface and how many new friends we would make. it made me smile even if it was only for just a moment.

few minutes later and frisk along with the king came out to us. the king looked....different in a sense. like he was told everything he had ever thought was wrong and started his learning process of changing those views different. made sense since he did think before that the only way for everyone to be free was to kill all the fallen children like all asgores but now I'm sure frisk did everything in there power to show him the different way, the way they do in every au freeing the monsters once more after breaking the barrier using there soul and the fallen children's souls.

once the barrier broke a similar situation happened like in all aus though papyrus ran down to greet the humans with me in his arms for some reason. I didn't mind too much but it was surprising more so than I would like to admit.

after some time I fulfilled my promise to bring them to outertale on a picnic. I had to find a spot that no one knew about but had oxygen since the one I used to go to didn't I thought it would be a poor choice. once there we ate pie and spaghetti and just talked. papyrus told me all the stories he could in that short time about the things I did in his life for him. he told me with many words just how much he adored me and that he couldn't wait to make more new memories with me. it warmed my heart and at the same time gave me an unfamiliar sense of guilt not the kind I normally felt for my duty but the guilt of not being there for family. I didn't like it.

soon me and paps were looking on the surface for a place to stay a new home as he put it. we ended up decided on the one in the same neighborhood as the dreamers since the house was nice and paps wanted to be able to walk right to them without any trouble it was a good fit for us. it also had the added bonus of a bus stop that went right to undyne and alphyses neighborhood so it was perfect though I did explain to papyrus that I could just portal us to both places he just called me out on being 'lazy' like most papyruses do with there brother. it felt....familiar.
