"I'm trying to write but I just can't.."

After the appointment the drive home was filled with sorrow and their eyes were red from crying so hard..

I didn't want to say anything because I just knew they would start crying so I kept my mouth shut. I wanted to tell him I just can't bring up the courage to.

All I can see is how heartbroken he would be to hear that his best friend might die..

If the positions were switched he probably wouldn't tell me either..

He waited a month to tell me his mom was dying in the hospital. His father was unknown, he never knew him.

I tried so hard to keep him company when his mother sadly passed away.. I'm thinking how sad and terrible he'll feel if I ever died..

When we were 10 we made a promise to always keep each other company and to die together so we won't be alone if one of us die early..

If the medication don't work I might have to break that promise.

We have arrived home and I see Theo on the porch. I'm scared because what if my parents told him? What will he say if they did tell them? My heart rate was increasing every step I take.

"Oh hey Mia!" Theo said in a happy way. I guess he doesn't know..

"Hey Theo! What are you doing here?" I said as walking up to him.

"Oh I was just chilling. And where were you?" He said looking at me with a questionable face. "Oh we were just out driving!" I said as my parents look at me from behind him with a look saying "Tell him" and mine saying "I know".

"So Theo." I said with a smirk. "You know what I'm thinking"

"Yes, yes I do" He said while smirking.

We walk inside and run upstairs and grabbed a lot of blankets to make the biggest blanket fort ever!

We laughed and had a lot of fun and he ended up sleeping over.

A few minutes after they fell asleep or well Theo fell asleep Mia stayed up all night thinking about to doctors said oh and also because of Theo's loud snoring.

The next morning my dad left for work and I walk downstairs alone because Theo was still sleeping nothing to worry about I'll wake him up later.

I go to the kitchen and my moms their and she looks at me and almost starts to cry.

I look at her and I just frowned, I hated seeing her like this it breaks my heart. "Have you told Theo yet?" She said wiping her tears with a tissue. "No not yet it's not a good time.." I said looking at the floor avoiding her eyes.

"You're going to need to tell him soon your disease won't get any better.." She said also avoiding eye contact.

She picked up her suitcase and started walking to the door when she heard something, but she didn't worry about it and walked out of the house.

I sit at the dining table eating my breakfast all alone waiting for Theo to wake up.

Theo's POV: I woke up without Mia by my side so I thought she was downstairs eating breakfast so I started to walk downstairs and hear her mother talking in a very serious but a cracky voice.

I was listening in even though I didn't notice. I thought to myself "Her mother never is that serious, she's always fun and outgoing."

I hear the mom say my name so I start listening very closely, but I couldn't really hear anything but "Did you tell him?" I was thinking why would she say that.

I started to walk up the stairs slowly because the words muffled after that. I heard her mother coming close to the stairs so I quickly go up them before she can see me. So I just started to get dressed in Mia's room.

Half her closet is basically my stuff because I'm here everyday, I basically live here now.

I start walking back downstairs to see her eating breakfast alone so I grabbed a plate and got some breakfast and sat down with her.

"Hey!" I said looking at her while she was playing with her fingers. "Hey!" She said with a slight frown on her face but trying to hide it with a fake smile.

I thought to myself "She only does that when she's nervous.." but I didn't really think much of it.

I asked her what's wrong but all she did was change the subject so I just thought she didn't want to talk about it and I respect that.

For the rest of the day we basically went driving, played video games, and ate a lot of food.
