Lorenzo POV

She looked at me, terror in her eyes as I held her against the wall.

The girl explained to me rapidly how she had only ever met the woman who lived here, Dana Wright.

The girlfriend.

She was just a cleaner here and had never met Oscar or seen any other person in the house.

I released her once again but this time she landed on her feet, hunching over as she caught her breath.

I felt as though I recognised her, as if I'd known her before but I looked at her again and realised it was just my imagination.

"You never met me, this never happened; do you understand me?"

Although her eyes showed no fear, she nodded vigorously.

"Good."

I signalled our men out, and we walked out. They formed a semi circle around me and I stood in the middle, thinking of what we needed to do next.

Unknown POV

Fuck, it's him. He's here.

Once the men left the house, I grabbed my phone from my bag and phoned Miss Wright.

"Hola Lauren, is everything okay?" She answered, her voice crackling slightly over the phone.

"Señora, someone just burst into the house looking for someone named Oscar Suarez? T-They've left now, but what do I do?" I said, faking a scared voice to seem as though I was terrified.

"Mierda!! Oh, that pinche cabron!!" She exclaimed. "I'm coming back; don't do anything, don't touch anything just stay seated in the kitchen and I'm on my way."
[translation: shit!! oh, that fucking asshole]

She hung up and before I could even walk towards the kitchen, the already broken door swung open again and standing there was a tall-ish man with a very visible gang tattoo on his arm.

"Oye chula, you work here?"

Before I could respond, move or make some sort of gesture, a knife was placed to my neck and my head was tilted up by the sharp point.

"Answer faster, some of us don't have all day."

"Deberías tener cuidado con la boca y ten cuidado con quién hablas con."
[translation: you should watch your mouth and be careful as you who you're talking to]

"No me conoces." He snapped.
[translation: you don't know me]

"Pero sé más de lo que crees."
[translation: but i know more than you think]

"Who are you?" He shouted at me.

I looked him dead in the eyes, allowing a small gap to be made between the knife and my neck.

I grabbed the blade safely and twirled it away from myself, switching our positions so that I had the upper hand.

"It's none of your damn business, bitch."

Thinking quickly, I knocked the guy out cold with the handle of the knife and left his body slumped on the floor.

As I collected my things, I put away the knife in my bag to seem as though nothing had happened.
