Notepad in your phone, you started listing all the clues you had and everything that has happened
“ Minghao's great grandfather was at china when Joshua was killed.. How could that make any sense? ”

“ Or was he really at china? ”

“ even so, he doesn't have a reason to kill joshua back then.. or does he? ”

You drank a glass of water as you looked around, you were shock when you saw a familiar figure sitting down just a few tables away from you

It was your father, you kept your eyes on him as someone suddenly approached him. He stood up and kissed.. her forehead?

You dropped your phone on the table as you were glaring at them, your eyes was getting watery as the worker approached your table
“ here's your order ma'am ”

She handed you the paper bag as you took out your wallet and gave her the money, you took the bag and headed out
“ ma'am! you forgot your change! ”

You didn't even care about the change anymore after you saw your dad cheating with a college girl, you didn't care anything at all as your anger was getting the best of you

You went back to the hospital as you saw joshua who looked so concerned after seeing you
“ kyung! Where have you been? ”

“ Out. ”

“ what's wrong? ” you walked pass him as you pressed the elevator button, he went inside the elevator with you

You kept quiet as you can tell that he was really concerned about you
“ kyung.. ”

You were trying to keep quiet but your tears suddenly started bursting out while you aren't speaking, you were crying silently as Joshua wrapped his warm hands around you
“ Stop crying... Shhh.. It's going to be alright.. ”

“ it's not.. it's not joshua.. ” you started crying even more as you hugged you back

“ I saw him... ” you kept crying as he was just listening to you

“ who? ”

“ My dad.. he was cheating on my mom.. Joshua.. ” you didn't want this, you never wanted a broken family since you've seen how hard it is

“ are you sure it's him? ”

“ yes.. ” you remember his face and him kissing the female college student on the forehead as it broke you even more

“ calm down alright? We'll solve this together.. just for now.. calm yourself ” he took his hands back from you as he took off his white coat and wrapped it around you

His voice was so calming and soothing as it made you stop crying.

The elevator doors opened as the both of you got out and headed straight to his office, you were zoning out as you just stood there doing nothing

He held your hand and guided you to the couch, you sat down as he gave you a glass of water
“ I'm scared.. ”

“ why? ” he sat closer to you as he wrapped his arms around you to make you feel secured

“ I'm scared that one day that my parents would suddenly divorce and.. I'll have to choose a side.. ” you drank the water he gave you as you placed the glass down

He cupped your cheeks while your nose were both touching
“ That's not going to happen.. as long as your with me, there's nothing to be afraid of. Your parents are strong.. just like their daughter.. they made a good decision bringing you into the world ”

“ And I'll make sure that you'll never fear anything anymore.. alright? If they make a choice then we have to accept it but I doubt that they're going to divorce since my parents told  me that they're the power couple back in their days ”
