her phone started ringing as she looked at Joshua with a doubtful smile
“ I have to answer this first. ” she said while walking away from Joshua and answering her phone call

“ you had to get used to that? ” I asked as he glanced at me while slowly nodding, I cleaned up the mess we made while he was eating and stood up

“ You two look really good together ” I let out a fake smile as he shook his head

“ if only she wasn't so busy.. ” he looked down and the nurses came out of the room as joshua quickly approached them

“ how is she? ” he asked as the nurse gave him a reassuring smile

“ she's able to maintain her breathing properly and hopefully this doesn't happen again ” one of the nurse explained to him as I went inside to check on her, she was looking outside as I sighed

“ don't stress yourself too much halmeoni, your grandson is very worried about you ” I said as she looked at me with a smile

“ I understand, thank you and I'm sorry to make you both worried ” she felt guilty as I chuckled while shaking my head but I took a step back when the door opened revealing guen

“ halmeoni!!! I'm was so worried about you ” she said while approaching the old woman on the bed and reaching in for a hug but halmeoni made sure that she wasn't going to let guen lay a hand on her

“ don't stress yourself too much halmeoni ” she said my exact words a while ago as the old woman responded

“ I don't need your opinion nor help. ” she coldly responded as guen raised one of her eyebrows while looking at her

” rude.. ” guen mumbled and her eyes landed on me

“ Joshua? I didn't knew you have a sister ” she said while looking at me and clinging into her boyfriend's arm

“ don't be mistaken, She's Mrs. Bora's daughter ” he smiled as he handed her the flowers he bought from our shop

“ Thank you ” she smiled sweetly while looking at Joshua, when her eyes landed on me again, she gave me this disgusted look as I looked at Joshua

“ I have to go, nice meeting you halmeoni! ” I smiled while waving at her as she looked like she didn't want me to leave

“Its was nice meeting you as well kyung ” she smiled at me as I glanced at Joshua

“ Goodbye ” I smiled at him as guen gave me this weird smile as I couldn't help but help creeped out by her, I walked pass them as I reached for the doorknob but soon stopped my actions when the door opened

I looked at what was infront of me and I couldn't help but feel uneasy
“ Mom dad! ” Joshua approached them as I looked down

“ Oh my! Are you Kyung? Bora's daughter? ” a female voice caught my attention when she said my mom's name, I looked at her and smiled while nodding

“ I am.. ”

“ Me and your mom are friends from high school, nice to meet you in person. I remember how little and shy you were back then ” she giggled as I smiled at her, she seems like a really nice lady and she looks a lot younger than I expected

“ nice to meet you too ” I bowed at her as  a sign of respect as guen approached her with a sweet smile

“ auntie! I'm so glad to see you ” she said while linking her arm into hers as joshua's mom smiled back at her

“ Joshua has been dying to see you, I'm glad you spared your extra time with him ” joshua's mom exclaimed with a smile as joshua was scratching the back of his neck
