I groan and turn off my stupid alarm. I slowly open my eyes and I see the sun peeking through my window.
After ten minutes of contemplating, I finally get out of bed and I do my usual morning routine.
Today I'm going to meet my girlfriend's family for the first time. Yee and I have been dating for four weeks now. He told me that her family wants to meet me already.
In the past, yee has dated all these handsome boys and then there's me. I'm worried her family will not like me and won't approve of our relationship.

I get a text message from yee
"Good morning jagiya." ~
"Good morning babe." ~
"Are you ready to meet my parents? They're very excited to meet you." ~
"I'm feeling a little nervous." ~
"Don't be. I'm 100% sure they'll love you just as much as I love you." ~
"Gosh. You're so cheesy." ~
"You know you like it. I'm going to pick you up in about 10 minutes." ~
"Why? Aren't we supposed to go to your parent's house until 12pm? We still have 30 minutes." ~
"What? Can't I go see my girlfriend? I really want to hang out with you before we go to your parent's house. " ~
"Awww. Well, I'm ready to go." ~
"Great! I'll be at your house in 10 minutes." ~
I put my phone in the back pocket of my jeans and I grab my bag. I go to my kitchen to eat a quick snack before my girlfriend gets here.
I feel my phone vibrate and I wonder how did yee get here so fast, but the text message isn't from her. It's from an unknown number.
"Is this jimin's phone number?" ~
"Yes. That's me. I'm sorry, but who is this?" ~
"I'm yee's ex-boyfriend, but not for long. I'm planning to get her back." ~
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but she's dating me now." ~
"You're the reason why she broke up with me. I honesty don't know what yee saw in you. I'm way better than you." ~
"Haven't you ever thought that maybe the reason why you two broke up was because she didn't love you anymore?" ~
"SHe loved me, but then you came into our lives and you took her away from me!" ~
"First of all, I did not take her away from you. You lost her and her love all on your own. Second, I don't know how you got my number, but I'd really appreciate it if you left yee and me alone." ~
I block the phone number and put my phone inside my bag . For some reason, I feel like crying and yelling. I've never felt this way before.
My phone starts to vibrate again and it startles me. It's a message from yee saying she's here.
I don't want Yee to know what happened. If I tell her, she's going to go talk to that guy and it's just going to create more problems.
I open my front door and I walk to Yee's car. SHe greets me with a sweet kiss when I get in the passenger seat.
"Are you alright?" Yee asks.
"Yeah. Of course." I lie.
My girlfriend took me to go eat ice cream and then we went to her parent's house. The whole time, I was acting weird and yee noticed.
"Alright. Spill it." Yee suddenly says after she parks her car outside of my apartment.
"Spill what?" I say innocently.
Yee turns her head to face me. "What's wrong with you today? You've been acting weird ever since I picked you up."
"Nothing's wrong." I unbuckle my seatbelt and I open the car door.
"Aren't you going to invite me in?" Yee unbuckles her seatbelt too.
"Sorry, but I'm very sleepy tonight. Maybe next time." I fake a yawn and kiss her lips. I get out of the car, leaving her speechless. I really don't like being this way towards my girlfriend, but now is not the time to tell her what happened.
I walk inside my small apartment and I hang my coat. I get startled by my doorbell ringing. I open the door and I see my girlfriend with a hurt and furious look on her face. SHe walks past me into my apartment.
"I'm not leaving until you tell me what's wrong. And don't say it's nothing because I won't believe you." SHe says.
I sit on the couch and she sits next to me.
"I'm sorry." I say in the verge of tears.
"For what?" Yee makes me face her.
"For not being good enough."
"Jimin what are you talking about? You're the best thing that has ever happened to me."
"One of your ex-boyfriends texted me today saying he'll do anything to get you back."
"Why didn't you tell me before?"
"Because I was scared. You're the first woman that I've ever fallen deeply in love with." I wipe a tear. "If you ever left me, that would be my first heartbreak."
"바보. Why would I ever leave you?" Yee pulls me into a hug and kisses my forehead. "No one will take me away from you." SHe lifts up my chin and kisses my lips. "I love you Jiminie."
I smile. "I love you too."
I hear my alarm again the next morning. I slowly open my eyes and I panic when I realize that my girlfriend is not next to me. I see a note on my drawer with my favorite esmeraldo beside it.
"Good morning jagiya. I had to leave early and I didn't want to wake you up. I just want you to know that I love you so much and that the past is in the past. No other man has made me feel the way you do. Now hurry up and eat breakfast. I made you some kimchi jjigae because I know you love them." - Yee
