I looked at her wide-eyed- what?

Kibutsuji Manor-burned? What on earth happened? It was fine yesterday!

I coughed and nodded to her story, She seemed to be quite unfazed by the blade in her shoulder and more focused on thinking,

I took this moment to take in what I was looking at, her breathing slow, almost not breathing at all, but yet calm. The blood on her shoulder was fresh. Indicating that the wound is fresh, probably from the attackers judging by the blade.

She was looking down at her lap in boredom. Some of her hair got in the way of her eyes,

The carriage suddenly came to a stop in front of the Manor. F/N lifted her head and looked at Sebastian who opened the door,
'My lord, Miss F/N' I let F/N get out before me, she held her shoulder while wincing a little,

'Sebastian! Tend to her wounds then assist her to my study.'

'yes, My lord'

Sᴇʙᴀsᴛɪᴀɴ Mᴇᴄʜᴇᴀʟɪs

After my master had left me with the Lady I glanced towards her,

'follow me F/N' I gestured for her to follow me as she nodded.

'What exactly am I working as Mr?' her voice could be heard behind me as we walk,
'Sebastian, Miss. And according to your skills, you shall serve as a guard of sorts, but when it does come to when we need your help with taking care of the Manor that will also be needed'

'A bodyguard... Huh'

I guided the Lady into an empty servant room that would soon be occupied with her, The rest of the servant's rooms should be near hers.
Once we walked in I asked her to sit down on the bed,
'hm, now how are we going to get this out,' I ponder

'Can't you just pull it out?'
You asked the butler.

'we could, but it will cause a mess.' he responded,

'what.'
'what do you mean a mess?' You ask him once again, 'I can just stop the bleeding when you pull the blade out'

He looks at you confused 'what do you mean you will stop the bleeding?'

Oh. Right. He doesn't know, how would he? What are you supposed to tell him anyway?

'oh yes, there I'd this breathing technique I do for slaying depress-
Ahem, demons.'

No! He wouldn't even believe me!

'Just do it, plus the bleeding would stop long enough for you to put the gauze on...' You muttered to Sebastian, who was clearly confused,

He then sighed, 'alright then', slowly pulling the blade out you pretended to wince,
'Do forgive me if this hurts too much,' he reassured while you nodded again, acting isn't always easy. He wrapped the gauze around your arm and shoulder after cleaning the wound. He looks up at you from his kneeling position and smiled before getting up and getting a new set of clothes,

'Will this do?' he showed you something similar to a maid dress, it was knee length and was tied back with a bow behind,

You looked at it for a while,
'sure' was your short answer,

It didn't really matter much to you, what you wear or what role you had,
As long as you were updated on what was happening and be involved in it, all will be well.

'Should I assist you? Or are you sure with doing it yourself F/N?'

'I think I should be fine if I do so myself, thank you'

You said, your voice filled with sarcasm as you pushed the man out of your door. Sighing as the door shut behind you, you locked it. According to some files, you were reading a travelling circus should be arriving in London soon, of course... How you got those files should be kept a secret. And the Queen should be sending a letter to Ciel in about a week. During that week you should have the time to know more about the residents here.

'Miss? You are alright in there?'

'Almost,'

You left the room and closed the door behind you to see Sebastian waiting. He nods as a signal to follow him and you mirror him to show you that you were paying attention.
Following him as you both walk down the hallways to Ciel's office you think back again, You would have a week to get to know the servants here as well as getting to know Ciel.

'We have arrived'

You look up at Sebastian to find you are now at the door. He gently knocked on the wooden frame and retracted his hand back.

'come in,'
Ciels voice could be heard from the inside as Sebastian finally opens the door, Ciel could be seen sitting on his chair as they were four people lined up,

'seems like they're the servants'

'F/N, They are the servants you will be working with from now on-'

He turns to the others lined up,

'Finny,'

'hello!'

'Baldroy,'

'You can just call me Bard miss,'

'Mey-rin,'

'It is very nice to have another female here yes it is!'

'and Tanaka,'

'ho ho ho'

'And you already know Sebastian and me,'

Not many servants for a whole Manor, but of course that is none of your concern.

'As for the role you shall be playing, a guard.'

'A guard? As in I should be a guard for the guard dog?'

You looked at the Earl with confusion, what is a guard supposed to do anyway? He has Sebastian,

'But sir-don't you have Sebastian? Why do you need another guard?'

Have to act confused, at least a little... Don't want to earl to think anything suspicious of you now,

Ciel propped his head upon his hand and sighed,

'Sebastian can be quite slow sometimes, and I need someone who is with me while he acts out my orders,'

Good point.

Sebastian chuckled from behind you, you took a step forward a little to avoid him being so close,

'Alright then,'
You agreed to his role for you. He lifted his head as he smiled a little, fake of course. Reading his files gave you quite the help,

'I'm glad you agreed, take this week to get to know the servants and the Manor, I'm guessing Sebastian already showed you your room,'

'yes, he did.'

He smiled once more, it was kind of odd seeing him smile even though when you first saw him he was so grumpy,
