“Yes,” she whispered, surprisingly. Colton’s eyes widened with disbelief hearing her agree to go out with him. He hadn’t expected her to. Victoria didn’t know why she agreed to go out with him in the first place. The fact that he hadn’t taken advantage of her while she was on his bed might have softened her a bit towards him. He wasn’t as bad as she was thinking him to be.

“Great. Get ready in fifteen minutes,” he said with a wide smile. Victoria rolled her eyes at him.

“How do I do that? I don’t have anything here, remember?” she reminded him. Colton chuckled and got up from the bed.

“Come here,” he said as he opened his closet door. Curious, Victoria climbed down from the bed and walked up to his side. He opened the closet door and Victoria gasped seeing a shelf full of women’s clothes.

“So you keep clothes for your hook-ups?” she asked with disbelief.

“What? No. I bought them for you yesterday, “ he informed her, looking hurt. Victoria gaped at him. He bought so many clothes for her? But why? Is he planning to keep her with him forever or what?

“I don’t need that many. It’s just for two days, right?” asked Victoria, giving him a puzzled look. Colton chuckled. He didn’t say that if he had a choice he would have kept her with him forever.

“We’ll see about that,” said Colton. “Now quickly choose what you want to wear,” said Colton impatiently. Victoria sorted through the beautiful and expensive clothes unable to choose anything to wear. She really had to admit that he indeed had a very good taste in clothes.

“I can’t choose. They’re all so pretty,” said Victoria, helplessly flailing her arms. Colton chuckled, feeling proud of himself.

“Do you want me to help you choose?” Asked Colton softly, going closer behind her. His front brushed with her back as he lifted his hand and darted through all the clothes. Finally he took out a midnight blue, backless chiffon dress with lace work on the shoulders. It was stunning and made Victoria’s jaws drop with amazement. “Here, you can wear this,” he said, his eyes glittering with excitement, desire and something more which Victoria couldn’t fathom at all. She took the dress from his hands, her whole body tingling with excitement feeling Colton’s hot body pressed against her back.

“Thanks,” she said breathlessly. She picked up the makeup box that Colton might have bought for her.

“I’ll take all of this to your room. You can take your time and choose what you need,” offered Colton. Victoria nodded and walked away from him towards her room. She was extremely confused by the change in Colton’s behavior. He seemed nice when he wasn’t being a d*ck and teasing her and challenging her into some stupid bet. But why was he being so nice? Was this some sort of a trap? Or was he trying to make her fall for him? ‘Well! It’s working, isn’t it, Vicky?’ said her traitorous mind.

Colton strode into her room carrying an armful of dresses and accessories. He placed them all on her bed. “There you go. Am I not awesome? I think I deserve a kiss in return,” said Colton with a wink. Victoria immediately tensed up and gave him a look. Would he force her to kiss him now?

“Chill, baby. Change quickly,” he grinned and sauntered off towards his own room. Victoria released the breath that she was unconsciously holding. She quickly locked the door. Freshening up, she changed into the dress that he had chosen for her. Looking into the mirror, she gasped with horror seeing her back exposed completely. She brushed her hair and left it as it was. At least it would hide some portion of her bare back. She chose a natural look and subtle makeup and was ready in twenty minutes. Walking out of her room, she was stunned to see that Colton was still getting ready. She rolled her eyes. He was worse than a girl, taking more than twenty minutes to get ready!

Victoria waited impatiently for Colton in the living room. She had no idea where they were going but still felt a strange excitement course through her body even thinking about it. Finally, he emerged from his room, looking hot and extremely gorgeous. Victoria’s jaws dropped seeing him in a pair of dark indigo jeans and a light blue dress shirt which he paired with a dark indigo blazer and Chelsea boots and a very expensive silver Tissot designer watch. Victoria felt underdressed compared to him.

Colton’s whole body tingled with excitement seeing her check him out. Did she like the way he dressed up for her? All his life he had dressed up for himself. It was the first time that he felt like dressing up for someone but to his utter disappointment, Victoria looked a little down and looked away. Did she not like the way he looked? His eyes took in her look, she looked more beautiful than he had ever imagined. The moment he had laid his eyes on that dress, he knew that he wanted her to wear it for him.

“You’re looking ravishing, “ he said, leaning towards her. Victoria blushed at his comment, glad to hear that he approved of her look.

“So do you,” she said shyly. Colton lifted his eyebrow with disbelief. Did she really say that? Did she really call him ravishing? His heartbeats accelerated hearing it.

“So, are we ready to go?” he asked her softly. She nodded. He led her outside the apartment and down the elevator to the parking lot. Victoria was acutely aware of his hand on the small of her back. His warm touch on her bare skin was creating havoc with her senses. Opening his car door he held it out for her.

Later when he started driving, Victoria looked around the place. It seemed that he was heading towards the Strip. She knew that his hotel and casino was located there. She’d been there to attend Sofia’s wedding. Soon enough, just as she had expected, Colton drove through the huge gates of the palatial structure of the Royal Torres Casino and Hotels, overlooking The Strip. He helped her out and led her into the luxurious interiors of his hotel. Everyone’s eyes were on them and Victoria felt like disappearing on receiving so much attention. Finally he led her to the glass elevator.

“Where are we going?” asked Victoria, looking around. Colton smiled but didn’t answer. Soon they were transported to the topmost floor. Victoria was wary of his motives by now. If he had just wanted to take her out to dinner only, he would have taken her to the restaurants at the ground level but he didn’t. Where the hell was he taking her?

They finally reached the terrace of the huge structure. She could see the helipad from where she was. Was he abducting her away to some distant island on a helicopter? “Don’t look so scared,” he chuckled, guiding her towards the left side of the terrace. They entered a beautiful glass enclosed room, beautifully decorated with ferns and lights. There was a table set up with a panoramic view of the entire Strip and beyond. The view was mesmerizing and made Victoria gasp with amazement.

“This is so amazing!” she told him. Colton smiled, glad that she liked the place. He had asked his staff to arrange this at such short notice. It was the most romantic place Victoria had ever seen. “How many dates did you have here?” asked Victoria curiously. She couldn’t stop herself from asking that question feeling an urge to know how he felt about this date. It was the first one and it was special. Although she wasn’t in love with him yet he was the only one she was remotely interested in.

Colton looked a little offended at her question. “I don’t do dates. This is my first,” he said gruffly. Victoria was stunned by his admission.

“Oh, I thought you frequently go out with women,” said Victoria, feeling a little awkward.

“I don’t go out. It’s just to vent out my frustrations when I’m at my worst, “ he shrugged, looking away from her.

“When I’m at my worst, I eat ice-cream,” said Victoria. Colton looked around her with interest, raising his eyebrow at her.

“What else do you love to eat?” he asked, as they sat side by side facing the strip.

“I love Italian food, Mexican food and of course, ice-creams,” said Victoria. “What about you?” she asked him.

“I love everything that’s made especially for me with love,” he said, turning towards her, his eyes boring into hers. She felt that he wanted to imply a lot through that statement but she wasn’t sure.
