Before anyone says anything about Damian being too nice, he's 16 here. He's had time to grow and mature. Plus he's really annoying when he's younger.

You lived in Blüdhaven. You were a student at day and Hero at night.

You were currently working under the Hero, Nightwing. You were like a sidekick for him.

You quickly put on your costume and put on your mask. You smiled looking at the mirror.

Your favorite hero was always Nightwing and now you work with him.

You got out of your window and made your way over to your meeting place. Which was on a building.

You saw that you were early so you sat down and just waited. You sat on the edge and just looked at the city.

" Hey kid."

You smiled and looked back.

Nightwing smiled back and sat next to you.

" I can't wait to help you again Mr. Nightwing sir." You said.

He laughed.

" Of course I'll need your help." He said wrapping his arm around your shoulders.

" Come on. Batman needs me and im taking you with me." Nightwing said standing up.

You nodded.

" Does that mean we're going to Gotham?" You asked.

" You bet." He said.

He grabbed you and grappled down. He landed at an alleyway and got on his bike.

" Hop on. I'll make sure you get back before school." He said.

You nodded and got on. He drove off. You watched the buildings go by fast.

" Side note, be careful in Gotham. It tends to breed a different type of criminal." Nightwing said.

" Okay." You said.

When you two entered Gotham, you could feel the setting mood change.

As if it got real that very moment. You looked around and saw how dark this place felt. You held onto Nightwing tighter.

" It's okay, I won't let anyone hurt you." Nightwing.

You hummed in agreement and continued to look around.

Nightwing parked in an empty alleyway and removed his helmet.

" Come on." He said.

You took yours off and got off.

You followed him as he walked towards another alleyway. You stopped and looked at the people. Most of them looked as if they know what they're doing. You turned and saw a group of men staring at you.

" Kid!" Nightwing running to you.

" Stay close. I don't wanna lose you." He said grabbing your hand and leading the way.

He walked over to where you saw a man wearing a leather jacket and a red helmet was standing.

" Hood!"

The man looked over to Nightwing. He walked over to him.

" Hey golden boy. The old man call you here too?" He asked.
