Tristan's P.O.V.
Talon paced back and forth in the apartment. He kept muttering to himself but I couldn't quite make out what he was saying. I know he felt really bad about Lilly's disappearance. He was supposed to be watching her and not let anything happen to her.
"I'm so sorry, Tristan," he said to me.
"Don't apologize. We just need to get her back."
"How? We don't even know where she is!"
"That's true but we do know who has her."
Talon gave me a duh look. "That's obvious. Where would Damon take her?"
I shrugged. That I really didn't know. I didn't know Damon all that well. "I'm not sure. Is your dad on his way?"
Talon nodded. "He's gathering a few other guys to join us."
I nodded. "If I was Damon I'd take her somewhere secluded."
"But I wouldn't be the one to kidnap her. I'd have someone else do it. Someone who's scent isn't that strong," Talon said, still pacing back and forth.
I sat down on the couch. "Someone like Ryan?"
"Exactly."
"Okay so how would Ryan get her out of the apartment?"
"Maybe through the balcony in her room."
I shrugged. "Maybe. But I don't think that's it. The front door was unlocked."
"So she let him in?"
I shook my head. "Neither one of their scents are in the house."
Talon plopped down on the couch. "This is so difficult. This would've never happened if I didn't fall asleep."
"It's not your fault Talon. It would've happened either way."
Talon sighed. "Let's just figure this out and get her back." He took a deep breath. "So she walked out of the apartment on her own?"
"That's what I'm thinking."
"Lilly wouldn't just walk out of the apartment. Something made her walk out. Maybe she thought you were in trouble but it was just a trap."
"Maybe. That sounds like a good reason but I don't know something just doesn't seem right with that."
"Okay then what sounds right to you?"
"She woke up in the middle of the night for some reason, walked out, and landed up at some place and from there she was kidnapped. You followed her scent right?"
"Yeah, all the way to some alley then after that her scent disappeared."
"Okay all we need to know is why she left the apartment. What made her leave?"
"I'm coming up blank on that. But hey here's another question. What does Damon want with my little sister anyways?"
"He doesn't want her. He wants me. He's just using her as bait."
"So you don't think he'll hurt her?" he asked sounding a little relieved.
"No he might if he has to. He'll do anything to her to get me because he knows I'll go after her."
"So he's just using her to get to you?"
"That's right."
Talon groaned. "When dad gets here, hopefully he'll be able to figure this out."
Lilly's P.O.V.
I opened my eyes hoping that I was in my room and I was just having a nightmare. But when I looked around at my surroundings I knew that wasn't the case. It was hard to see in the dark but I could make out that I was in some kind of cabin like room.
I got up from the bed and walked over to the small window on the opposite wall. I punched my hand against the glass but it didn't break. Shit I thought to myself. I walked back over to the bed and leaned back against the wall.
I had to think of a plan. I needed to get out of here. Tristan and Talon were probably worried sick right now. If I couldn't escape I hope they would be able to find me. I could probably escape myself if my head wasn't hurting so bad and if my wrists didn't have bruises.
Suddenly, the door burst open and Ryan stepped in.
I glared daggers at him.
"What do you want?" I spat at him.
"I believe I should be the one doing all the talking."
I rolled my eyes. "If it'll make you leave faster."
Ryan slapped me across the face. I felt like crying out but I held it in.
"My father will be coming in here shortly and you will not talk to him like that. You understand me?"
I stayed quiet but continued to glare at him.
"I said, do you understand me?"
"Enough, Ryan," a deep voice said from the now open door.
Ryan walked all the way to the other side of the room. Damon stepped closer to me. I watched as his eyes trailed every inch on my body as if he was inspecting me for some sort of test.
I acted like it didn't bother me and glared at him to.
"I'm sorry that you're caught up in all this mess. I didn't want to bring you in the middle but Tristan had to make this hard on me."
"Right, sure you didn't."
"Sarcasm won't get you very far young lady."
"Just tell me what you want."
"You already know what I want."
"Tristan."
Damon nodded. "Exactly. Now see I had to-"
"Kidnap me?" I interrupted him.
"Let's say borrow you to get Tristan here."
"What are you gonna do with Tristan anyways?" I already knew but I was just asking to see if he would tell me any other valuable information.
"What do you think?"
"I don't know that's why I'm asking you."
Damon let out a deep breath. He didn't like that I was testing his patience. "I'm going to kill him."
"But why?"
"He didn't tell you? Tristan is my son. My first born, which means Ryan cannot receive my position as alpha because Tristan is still alive. So if I kill Tristan that means Ryan will be able to become alpha. Which is rightfully his."
"Being alpha belongs to Tristan not Ryan."
"So you think."
I shook my head. "Tristan is your son. Your own flesh and blood. How could you do that to him?"
Damon shrugged. "It's easier then you think."
"What does any of this have to do with me?"
"Well since you're his mate he'll come crawling over here to get you and I will be able to kill him."
"Tristan's not stupid. He's not gonna fall for it."
"He just might."
"I doubt it."
Damon pulled out a cell phone. It took me a few minutes but I realized that it was my cell phone that he had pulled out of his pocket.
"It's time to make a phone call."
