I groaned to myself. It was cute how Tristan was trying to really keep me entertained since I couldn't go out. But no matter what he did, I always ended up getting bored.

"Do you have an eight?"

Tristan frowned and handed me a card.

"I win!" I shouted.

Tristan glanced at the clock, that frown still on his face. "I've got to go see your dad today."

I sighed. I had forgotten about that. I doubt I was going to be left alone so I wonder who was coming over to baby sit me.

"How long are you going to be gone for?"

Tristan shrugged. "I'm not sure. Hopefully not to long."

"You're really going to drive this late?"

He nodded. "This is the only time your dad can meet with me."

"It's already six and by the time you get there it'll be like eight o' clock then you have to drive back."

He shrugged. "It's fine. It's not like I have to go to school."

Tristan got up from the couch just as someone knocked on the door. Tristan answered it. I heard a little bit of mumbling then the sound of footsteps coming into the living room.

"Hey!" Riley said.

I jumped up and ran to him. I couldn't believe that Riley was here. I looked at him from head to toe to see if he had changed at all. He hadn't. He was still wearing all black clothing as always. But Riley wouldn't be Riley if he didn't.

"It feels like it's been forever."

Riley chuckled. "It hasn't been that long."

I rolled my eyes.

"Okay so I'll be back later," Tristan said.

Riley and I both nodded.

"So you wanna give me a tour of the house?" Riley asked.

"Why not?"

I grabbed Riley's hand, dragging him to the kitchen. "Here is our lovely kitchen."

Riley glanced around and gave a nod of approval. "Nice."

I walked out of the kitchen and passed the front door to the hallway that leads the bedrooms. I pointed to the first door on the left side of the hall. "That's the bathroom." I continued walking down the hall. "There's my room," I said pointing to the right. "And there's Tristan's." I pointed to the door straight across from mine.

Riley nodded again. He opened the door to my bedroom and stepped inside. Normally I didn't like people walking into my bedroom but Riley was an exception.

"I like your room," he said sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes. My room was simple and plain. I didn't bring much stuff to decorate my room. In fact, I didn't bring anything but clothes. I really wish that I had brought pictures or something to make it feel more like my room.

Riley walked over to the glass doors that led to the small balcony. He pulled back the drape to look outside. There really wasn't much to see but a street filled with cars and people walking around.

"So what do you do all day?" he asked.

I shrugged. "Sleep. Watch TV. Eat. That's pretty much it."

Riley chuckled. "Sounds like fun."

"Yeah it is."

Riley sat down on my bed. I sat down next to him and looked around the room. I was really tired of seeing the same four white walls. I wanted to go out and live like the rest of the world. But of course I couldn't do that because some stupid guy was trying to kill me.

"What should we do then?" he asked me.

"There's not much to do. How are you and Sage?"

He sighed. "We're good."

"Just good? Is everything alright with you guys?"

"Yeah everything's fine. Just she's a little freaked out right now."

"Why would she be freaked out?"

Riley began playing with his lip ring. He only ever did that when he was nervous.

"What happened?"

He looked away from me. "You really wanna know?"

"I wouldn't be asking if I didn't."

He let out a deep breath, contemplating whether or not he should tell me. Finally, Riley looked at me to tell me what was going on.

"Well we sort of...kind of...slept together and she freaked out about it."

"When did this happen??"

"A couple days ago."

"Has she talked to you?"

He shook his head. "Not really. It's like she's avoiding me. I don't know what to do. I don't understand why she is."

"Maybe she's freaking out because she lost her virginity at the age of 15 and she doesn't know how to process it."

"Maybe. What should I do?"

"Just give her a little time. She'll come around. If she doesn't then go up to her and talk to her. Tell her she can't ignore you forever."

Riley nodded. "Alright."

"So anything else?"

"Well..."

Riley and I talked for another couple of hours. Ten came around and Tristan still wasn't back. As Riley and I continued to talk, I started to feel sleepy. After awhile I guess I did fall asleep.

I was woken up early in the morning and I felt like slapping the person. I was more than surprised to see that it was Riley. I rubbed my eyes to make sure that it was him that I was seeing.

"What are you still doing here?" I asked sitting up in bed.

"I'm actually going home right now."

"Really? But it's so early in the morning."

Riley shrugged. "I need to sort things out with Sage."

Oh right. I forgot about that.

"So I'll see you when you come home."

"Hopefully that's soon."

I gave Riley a hug then he left. Ten seconds later Tristan walked in.

"I'm back."

"I see that," I said with a smile.

Slowly Tristan walked over to the bed and laid down next to me. I laid my head down on his chest and closed my eyes, ready to fall asleep.

"I've got good news," he said.

"Which is?"

"We can now go out of the house."

I looked up at him. "Are you serious?"

He nodded.

"Finally!" I shouted.

Tristan laughed. "So I get to take you out on an official date."

I laughed. "I can't wait. But right now I need to sleep."

"Me too," he said.

Within minutes I was out cold.
