"I'll be leaving!" Tanjiro yelled as he ran out of the room and out of the building. He sped off into the distance, closing into his 'target' - The place they found the stone.
"Maybe I'll find something new.." He mumbled, just as he reached the place and went inside. The place was still destroyed, with some small rubble laying around.
Tanjiro crouched down at the spot where he had found the gem at first, slowly dragging his fingers around the spot.
Without noticing, he drew a 'picture' of the gem on the dusty floor. Tanjiro looked at it in surprise. He sighed and stood up.
"There's nothing here." A voice whispered.
"Wha- W-who are you!? Where are you!?" Tanjiro yelled out in shock. He almost sounded... scared.
"That is not one thought one should think. It is completely unnecessary. Instead, you should be wondering what I am." The creature replied.
"Then, what are you?" Tanjiro slowly turned his head, attempting to look at the creature.
"I am not behind you. I am above you. Do not worry though. I have no intention of hurting you."
"Hold on. Are you in my head?" Tanjiro mumbled. He recognized the feeling of someone in his head. Someone talking to him through it.
"Yes. I am in your head. Although my current body is above you, I do refuse to meet you eye-to-eye. How did you figure it out?"
"I had a... no, my killer. He was a demon. He could talk to me through my mind."
"Ah. About that. I'm surprised you haven't recognized me yet."
"What? What do you mean?"
"I now live in the stone. I, Muzan, the great demon King, is still alive."
