"How did you-!? We saw you get disintegrated by the sunlight!" Tanjiro yelled out in shock. He didn't even care if anyone heard him.
"Now, now. Are you sure that was not just an illusion?"
"You- Are you fucking stupid!? I can tell you're planning something!" Tanjiro didn't notice someone, or rather something, was creeping up behind him.
"I'd recommend looking behind you." Tanjiro's head quickly turned when he heard the snap of a twig right after Muzans words.
"Show yourself." He hissed. Still being a demon, he possessed the abilities he'd received.
"Calm down, Brother. What's going on? I heard your scream." Nezuko slowly walked up to her tense brother.
"Muzan. He's alive. And above us." Tanjiro sighed, glancing upwards and catching a glimpse of something moving.
"That is correct. My current form is above you."
"Stop talking to me, Muzan." Tanjiro hissed through gritted teeth.

Tanjiro walked into his room after a fight with Tomioka, crying. He wondered why it had come to this. All this chaos.
This was their first fight, of course, he was shaken. The others had been there to witness it. Even Shinobu felt bad.
Though, there is the fact Shinobu got over Tomioka.
"Why...?"
