"That should do it!" The gem exploded Mid-air.
Tanjiro and the others looked for the gem to see if there was a big peice left, but there wasn't.
"Giyuu-san should be fine now", Shinobu said with a smile. Tanjiro smiled back.
"Let's go back and check", Tanjiro said and began walking. The others followed.
Soon they arrived back at the village. They were greeted by Giyuu.
He hugged Tanjiro as soon as he saw him. Tanjiro teared up but hugged him back.
The others continued in, deciding to give the two lovers some space.
"I love you", Tanjiro sighed.
"I'm so sorry for that. I don't know what came over me!" Giyuu said, sadness and guilt clear in his voice.
Tanjiro chuckled.
"It's fine now. You're okay and so am I", Giyuu pressed a small kiss to Tanjiro's forehead and then stayed in the hug for a while.
Soon the two walked inside, holding hands and happily chatting about something.
Nezuko waved to Tanjiro and he smiled at her.
Giyuu lead Tanjiro to his room, patting the bed.
"Hey, I want cuddles", Giyuu mumbled. Tanjiro laughed but then laid down with him.
Tanjiro nuzzled into his chest and Giyuu just relaxed. Tanjiro sighed, relieved he could finally be with the love of his life, once and for all.
