[ Chapter 4 - Injuries ]

As hinted by the title, this'll include descriptions of wounds/injuries and also descriptions of extreme violence. Please don't read past the warning if this triggers you in any way. Thank you.

"An effect of.. the stone?"

"Yes, the stone. Perhaps something has inhabited it and is bringing Tomioka-san these bad emotions."

"Tomioka, please. Listen to Tanjiro."

"Ugh, fine. Just leave the two of us alone. " Tomioka rolled his eyes. Shinobu nodded and walked out quickly.

!ARGUMENT + VIOLENCE WARNING!

"U-uhm... So, I wanted to ask something." Tanjiro hesitantly said.

"Yes? Go on."

"Have you been in contact with the gem in any way?"

"Hm. Why do you ask, huh? Trying to look into my private life, huh?"

"I-It might affect your health and/or behavior..."

"Well, I am perfectly fine. But it looks like you're not, Kamado." Tomioka gradually walked towards Tanjiro, who stepped back because of fear.

"W-what do you mean?"

"Oh.. It means you won't be 'okay' after this."

"Wait! Stop!" Tanjiro yelled, dodging right as Tomioka attempted to hit him.

"You little-"

"I-I said stop!" Tanjiro yelled, again.

"I won't stop, you fucking bitch. Get it into your head, stupid."

"Please! Stop!'

"SHUT UP!" Tomioka yelled, slapping Tanjiro, hard. Tanjiro stumbled back, his hand slowly creeping up to his chin.

"That hurts, huh!? I can do so much worse then that.." Tomioka smirked, in a almost crazy way, as he looked at Tanjiro.

Tanjiro sat there, silently crying on the ground. Tomioka was towering over him, small stains of blood on his hands.

The blood were kind of splattered on his face, some bruises could also be seen. One of his eyes were closed due to the amount of harm it had recieved earlier.

(If you're wondering why he isn't regenerating, It's because he recieved a weak medicine that's gradually turning him into a human, forgot abt that part lmao)

"Why...?"

"Why? Because..." Tomioka's words drowned out as Tanjiro slowly fell into the caring arms of the unconsciousness.

"Tanjiro? Tanjiro!" Shinobu exclaimed when she noticed he woke up.

"H-huh? Kocho?"

"Let's get those wounds treated, okay?" Tanjiro nodded, slowly sitting up in the bed he had been transported to.

"Ugh.. My head hurts." Tanjiro thought sleepily.

He whimpered lightly when Shinobu started wrapping his wounds up, including putting an eyepath over his eye.
