chapter 14

I didn't realise how long it has been, we've been sitting there ,talking about how things have been!
My head in on his shoulder, making me so relaxed, because of the fact that he's with me!
I'm not alone!
I suddenly got up, as I got to remember something, i shouldn't have forgotten!

"Nick..!" I called him to get his attention back to me , from the Stone that he has been staring at!
"What?" .
"Grace!!"I said in a panicked voice.
"Grace? What?" He asked with a frown.
"Actually..." I got interrupted before I could say something!

"Look sev! Stop acting childish! We're lost in here, and we are supposed to find a way to go out but here you are trying to tease me about my crush?? Huh, well not even a serious crush! I told ya million times, it's just I'd pick her in our class if I've to get a girl friend! And..." I slapped him to stop.

Yeah he told me that he has a slight crush on Grace, after his funniest break up with his ex! It wasn't so serious crush,I know but I teased him sometimes,whenever Grace comes to talk to me while I'm with him,as his mind becomes blank in her presence! He was well known for flattering all the beautiful girls in our school but never had courage to say a word infront of Grace!
But now I'm not trying to tease him, it's something serious! It's him who forgot where we are , and got butterflies on hearing her name.

"Listen to me first!" I said with a annoyed voice.
"OK ok say! But only after taking your slap back" he slapped me on my head , and started to pay attention anyway!
"Grace, came lost in this book even before me! And I met her at mosters cave but.."
"Wtf sev! You gave her that book? And Where's she if you already met her?"
"She- she- it's like I didn't see her after falling down there, at that zombie place" I said as fear occupying my mind.
"What?? But- Hey sev! Can ya here those sounds??" His body suddenly became stiff, paying attention to something .
"Zombies are making noises?" I could hear some terrible noises.
"They are not zombies but ya something kind of like that!"He said, still paying attention to the side,where the sounds are coming from!
"Not zombies? Then- " screaming of a girl interrupted my question ,and I looked at nick,who's already looking at me with a question mark face,asking if it's Grace!
He climbed onto a rock and went out of that hiding place, as if he comformed that the girl,who's screaming is grace, by my expression.
I followed him.
The scene over there, terrified me!
Grace is standing,her back turning towards us! And she's stepping back slowly while screaming out in fear, as those zombies are approaching her!
Nick didn't waste a moment, he grabbed her by waist, and ran towards that hiding spot, and I followed again.

I could see nick turning into a tomato, as Grace hugged him tightly, and trembling from head to toe!
She's petrified by what she has seen, so she's not even opening her eyes!

I'm confused whether to laugh at nick's tomato face, or to feel bad for Grace,who's face has turned into a white onion, by seing that most terrifying shit in her 17 year old life!

"Grace! Calm down! You are safe!! Breath in!!" I said ,keeping my hand on her head.
She slowly opened her eyes and looked up to see, in whose arms she has been in! Blood pumped into her cheeks on seeing nick! Their eyes locked for a second, and Grace turned back to hug me,turning her face to otherside!
I couldn't say if this hug is out of relief or blush!
I couldn't stop laughing on seeing nick, just coming back to this world , and going a bit away from us!
