It took them nearly 5 minutes to climb upto where I'm, as grace was moving slowly!
Atlast we sat there relaxed, while zombies turned around the tree, trying to climb , which is more than impossible for them! Throwing a little branch of the tree is more than enough to make them fall on to ground, even if they managed to climb a little.
"These zombies... ewww" I said , looking at a zombie which is still looking up with that hungry look,who has only one eye, and a blank hole,where the other one is supposed to be! It's hands are trying to reach us, I couldn't even call them hands! It has only 3 fingers on one hand, and another has 2 his hand bones are visibly out if torn flesh! Half of his face is missing, judging by the torn skin and flesh, it must have been chewed away by someone!
"Sev!! They aren't zombies, I told ya a million times" nick complained.
"Well,I don't see much difference!" I rolled my eyes.
"Me too" Grace agreed .
"Well! See girls, zombies spread virus, and we will become zombies if they bite us, whereas these guys are just hungry af and would just eat us away,not even leaving a single piece left!"he explained.
My body shivered on hearing that explanation.
"Mr.scientist, imma call them zombies no matter what you say!"I said lazily, as I was tired to pay attention to his explanations.
"Cuz you are a baka!" I snap back!
"Whatever! HEHE" I shot a evil laugh!
"Grace, sevyn is scary, isn't she?" Nick asked looking at Grace!
She just chuckled in reply.
"And nick is scarier" I said looking at the red sky, through the huge branches of that scary tree.
The redness of sky would be paler in the morning, and gets darker and darker, as it becomes Night!
Right now it's semi-thick-red indicating an evening!
We sat like that, listening to nick's explanations on literally everything in this world, interrupting by my snap backs and Grace's sweet Chuckles!
"This sky is this redder itself and I just can't imagine a evening sun here!"I said thinking, how reddy it would have been!
No one said anything but nick just hummed .
"May be as red as nick's face, when he looks in g-" I got interrupted by nick, while saying this with a teasing smirk on my face.
"SEVVV! stop it, or you are going to get punished" he said , trying to be serious, but I could see the smile he's suppressing by tightening his cheek bone, making his jaw line much visible!
"Grace! If you are tired of watching that red sky, see this red sun, sitting infront of you!"I said to grace, who's observing the sky!
The sky is getting much reddish, indicating that it's going to be night! Surroundings got much darker now!
"Sev! They are prettier compared to you!" Nick said with a giggle, pointing towards zombies with disgusting faces, that are restlessly waiting down there for us!
"Oye zombies, thank me! This handsome guy found you pretty, cuz of me! By the way , think about marrying him instead of eating, and leave rest of us! He can give you little zombie kids" I shouted as if I wanted them to listen really.
"Jokes aside, what are we going to do now? They doesn't seem to leave us! " Grace said with a worried face.
"Nick what you think?" I asked.
"Nothing, let's take rest tonight here on this tree, it's safe! Tomorrow we can make some weapons with some branches of this tree, and another fight with these guys to escape from here!" Nick said looking down at them.
"Fine for me!"I said.
"Sevyn, I'm not familiar with trees, what if I fall down during sleep ,and gets caught by them?" Grace said with a worried face.
"Don't worry Grace, I'll show you how to have good grip with branches and you can climb a bit up and sleep where there are more branches! This is a huge damn tree, so you can sleep in here safely! Or if you still worried , see our tomato ,uff sorry nick is here to catch you !" I said making them laugh! Grace nodded in return!.
This is tree is really so big and has so many branches, it's scary in this night though! I'm sure Grace won't fall down that easily as she's afraid!
We all looked down as there are some screams of a zombie in pain.
My heart left its beat on seeing the scene over there!
My eyes widened, and mouth opened at the scariest scene I've ever witnessed in my whole life!
