The heavy air of emotions inside the room subsided after a short while... my mother was able to communicate with Minorka and the other one responded every single time. I decided to give them a moment of their own and signaled Taehyung to come with me.

But when I opened the doors, we were both surprised as we found Charlie at the doorstep in such a worried look. Her husband tried to comfort her;

"Baby, come on-"

She shook her head and walked past us, obviously aiming for my mother.

"Ischgl, wait-"

I tried to stop her but she pulled her arm away from my gentle hold and hurriedly approached my mum.

What actually bothered us is the get up she pulled off and the knapsack she's holding. We watched the tiny preggo lady come forward to Russia's soon to be queen and what alarmed us all was when she settled on the floor and bowed lowly, in such a very apologetic manner as though asking for forgiveness.

"DEAR,"

My mum hurried to pull her up from such a position but refused and voiced out her fears;

"Forgive me your majesty for not letting you know about my pregnancy...for being careless and such and most of all, forgive me because I don't want to go back yet to Korea and want to continue traveling with friends..."

My mum had a look of both disbelief and discontentment.

"Get up my dear. You're not supposed to be crying like that..."

My mum gently assisted Charlie on her feet and like a child wept while constantly saying "andwae" a word of objection in hangul.

My mum crossed her arms and watched the tiny monarch while deliberating.

"You know you have a very sensitive pregnancy right? And traveling is risky for you... this isn't for you to decide-"

I couldn't hold my tongue and interrupted;

"Mum, the reason why Ischgl wants to continue this travel is because she enjoys it. She feels relaxed and by that she can have a worry free pregnancy. If you take her back to Korea, she'll have to deal with pressure again and THAT is more stressful and risky."

Taehyung agreed as well and embraced his wife.

"She gets really anxious at home as it is a place of bad memories. It'll take time for her to heal from all the trauma, aunt Sora. "
