I watched my wife drowned in remorse as I gently massaged her leg. Pouting like a six year old kid...

Well, she is indeed a six year old kid in a woman's body.

I continued gently reprimanding her about her confession regarding the situation with Arabela's supposedly prank.

"You should've told me rightaway. You know, I might've done something to make the situation a little better...also sweetheart, you know that those kinds of pranks aren't good."

I gently patted her leg and gestured for her to stretch the other one so I can work on it.

"B-but your highness... she's my friend and I just wanted to help her. 😔 I didn't know she already did that for a couple of times and... I also want to see Advisor Kim's reaction." 🥺

"Even so...do you think if Namjoon hyung believed it and found out that it was just a prank...I mean how would he feel?"

She sighed and in such a guilty look, apologized;

"I'm sorry. I already apologized to him...🥺 I also told him to be nice to Ara..."

I sighed;

"Well sweetheart, I think it's a little too late for that. They've broken up didn't they?"

She flinched at what I said and I instantly regretted my words. She covered her face and wept. I quickly took her to my arms and consoled her. My baby is truly sensitive these days. In a muffled voice she uttered;

"It's my fault...I should've said no. I didn't know they broke up. I thought Ara unnie just needed to...just needed to get back home because of something important. I know they kind of argued but..."

"Baby, no it's not. It's not your fault...Hush down... well, actually..."

She wouldn't stop crying and it's worrying me. I closed my eyes and I'm gonna get reprimanded for this...telling a white lie is truly necessary in this situation.

"ACTUALLY...I'm not sure if they really broke up. It's just my hunch.😐"

She uncovered her tear stricken face which is still adorable of course, and looked at me straight in the eye...

Oh God how can I endure this lie...
