49: jimin

[Wednesday]

Location: Seoul - 11:00 pm

Taehyung woke up with the biggest headache so far. He was wondering if it was worse than his head after the fall. Probably not. He groaned rolling around on the bed to find Jungkook who was on the other side laying on his back, his mouth open and snores leaving his lips. Those snored were way too loud for the boy who was having his headache and he moved his hand under Jungkook's chin closing the mouth to muffle them, it didn't quite work, the sounds kept going.

"Yah Kook, shut it!" he said annoyed giving the other a push. Jungkook obviously didn't listen as he was sleeping, taehyung covered his ears and hid under the blankets. He wanted to sleep more, he felt tired, hungry and his head was throbbing. Having this snoring next to you wasn't working with it. "uhrg!" The boy frowned and kicked the other, shoving him out of the bed, a thud was heard followed by a confused voice.

"Ah-" Jungkook woke up very uncomfortable, it wasn't quite nice to wake up from falling on the ground. He sat up rubbing his head and shoulder that hit the ground. seeing taehyung snuggled in all their blankets and pillows. "yah, the fuck was that for?"

"you were snoring, making my headache worse!"

"Not my problem, you drank so much. '' Jungkook sighed and stood up disappearing out of the bedroom, only to return later with a glass of water and painkillers. placing them on Taehyung's side of the bed on the nightstand. "here, it will help"

"Thank you, baby," Taehyung said, seeing the other through his lidded, tired eyes. The raven chuckled, shaking his head, he had given up protesting about the nickname, he just let the boy call him 'baby' if he wanted, taehyung won't listen anyway.

"Seokjin called us to strop by, he wants to know how we are feeling and if the medication works well"

"After I eat six meals I will think about leaving my bed," Taehyung mumbled from under the blankets.

"Hmm, whatever. i will get something to eat for us, i will be right back" jungkook turned around to grab some clothes that he can enter the store in with.

"Be careful"

[4:15 pm]

After a long lunch the two had arrived back at Seokjin's underworld hospital, entering with their own copy of the key. Seokjin said they were always welcome to come here whenever they needed. as long they won't lead any threats to here like the police. it had to stay a secret place.

When they walked inside they could hear voices. Taehyung froze in his steps, his eyes widening. He recognized the voice.

".....Jimin" taehyung muttered looking at jungkook who looked quite unbothered by it. Jungkook didn't care about others, his debt with Jimin was already paid off, there was nothing more to the blonde for him.

"Yeah so what?"

"He will kill us! you killed hoseok remember, i tried too! he is gonna be so mad"

"If he hurts you I might just kill him too," Jungkook said, continuing to approach seokjin's office.

"Don't kill jimin!"

"can't promise that '' the raven walked into the room and Taehyung heard a shriek. Probably Jimin's hearing it was rather high pitched compared to his own voice.

"You are the criminal!!" Jimin shouted seeing the 'bunny' enter the room again. "stat back" he thought jungkook will really kill him this time but the other didn't. Jungkook just raised a brow at him and sat down in front of seokjin looking between yoongi and jimin curiously. He noticed yoongi's hand over Jimin's.

"So, Jimin. this is Jungkook, he is my best friend.." yoongi said.

"you said you were in bad stuff but i did not expect THIS?!" jimin said, yoongi had told him he wasn't a very good person and works for bad people, jimin didn't judge and continued dating the man but only to see yoongi was working with the biggest criminal there was currently in South Korea. Someone he thought was dead, the shock came twice as hard.

"But how, he is dead!?"

"do i look like i'm dead?'' Jungkook said sarcastically which made jimin shut up.

"Does that mean..taehyung is here too?" Jimin asked softly, looking at the doctor he just met. Seokjin nodded and pointed at the doorway where Taehyung stood looking at jimin.

"Tae..."

"Jimin...im...i'm sorry"

"We have to talk, '' Jimin said and stood up, walking to his friend and pushing him back to take him somewhere private. ignoring the deadly glare jungkook was giving him.

"Why? why did you do it?" Jimin asked his friend as they were in the bathroom with the door closed.

"s-so what?"

"Kill him, why did you kill hoseok?!" Jimin shouted.

"i-i didn't kill him! I tried to but I didn't do it, I swear!"

"Then who did it!? I saw you trying to kill him, why? just tell me why taehyung...'' Jimin teared up, he needed answers. He can't stick to the past but he can't let go of it completely if he didnt know what the reason was that it happened.

"Hoseok tried to kill us multiple times, he succeeded the last time. but seokjin helped us and we woke back up. but jungkook was in a coma and out of anger i wanted to take revenge, i didn't think of my actions that moment. I just wanted to take revenge, i thought he had killed jungkook....Jimin i'm sorry, but i didn't mean to hurt you, you have nothing to do with this." Taehyung explained.

"So..who killed him?"

"Jungkook did. revenge feelings, just like mine" Taehyung said he didn't want to lie to jimin and hide the fact they were the ones behind the detective's death.

"I see....thank you for telling me..." Jimin said, wiping his eyes, refusing to cry over his boyfriend's death now. He had someone new, he was gonna try again. hoseok will always be his true love, but he had to move on. He had to continue his life. Hoseok wouldn't want him to keep crying over him, he would want Jimin to keep enjoying his life and move forward. not stick to the past. "I understand. i forgive you, even if i didn't have to"

"Wait, really, why?" Taehyung was surprised, he thought Jimin would shout, he thought Jimin would punch him and scream to never see him again and to die. but Jimin did the exact opposite.

"You had problems with Hoseok. Hoseok had a dangerous job, I can't blame you for what happened. Hoseok was the one who took the job and did what he did. As you said, I don't have anything to do with this. these were things in his life." Jimin said and chuckled, shaking his head. "just...let's not think of that now. I am trying to move forward with someone new. I met Yoongi when I needed someone. I will build up my life again. but I need some time, Tae."

"I understand...take all the time you need. if you ever want to..come back to being friends i will be open to it, but don't feel like you have to.."

"thanks. i will come back, once I get myself together we will talk about what happened okay? I'm now just glad you're okay, I never wanted you to get hurt. but i lost you when you shove this path, the path to be with Jungkook. I'm glad we somehow cross paths again, even if it wasn't on the best start"

"mee too...and thank you again Jimin." Taehyung smiled. The two then looked at each other for a long time before walking closer and wrapping the other in a tight hug.

"We will figure this out," Jimin said.

"yes, we will"
