31: stalking

[Wednesday]

Location: Seoul - 9:37 pm

"Where are you going?" Taehyung asked, looking at Jungkook who was changing clothes, changing into something fully black and well movable.

"I have another job to do, you can come with me if you want to," Jungkook said while he tied his shoes. Taehyung's face lit up and he nodded.

"I wanna come with you. wait for me!'' Taehyung said and hurried to get some clothes himself. He borrowed most work clothes from Jungkook as he did not own many black colored clothing. and Jungkook had enough of it.

"You better hurry, I'm not waiting for you" Jungkook said and left the room, taehyung threw him some annoyed words before rushing after his husband who was already unlocking the car. Taehyung hasn't even tied his shoes and almost tripped over them when running out of the front door.

"Stupid ass" he said jungkook just chuckled and opened the car trunk to check fi they got everything. seeing his bag was there with the things he needed he closed it and got to the driver's door . he frowned seeing taehyung sit behind the wheel starting the car.

"Yo! get out," Jungkook said, tapping the glass. Taehyung rolled down the window and raised a brow.

"Hm what about, no"

"you're so bratty sometimes," Jungkook muttered as he made his way to the passenger seat against his will. He didn't like not being the one driving. so he sat down finally with his arms crossed like a kid that didn't get the candy he wanted.

"okay, where to boss?'' Taehyung said playfully as he drove out of the parking spot onto the tile road that led to their house. They still did not live inside the city but somewhere further away where no cameras are and rarely people come by. there were only a few farms around them but they didn't bother to even talk to them.

[10:12 pm]

Jungkook and Taehyung had parked near a night bar and sat now inside at the bar. they had some non alcoholic drinks which looked like they were alcoholic to not draw suspicion why they sat there oddly. they did not have to wait and see if their target showed up here or not. this was the location jungkook thought she might come to form all the details yoongi sent him.

'JK, look around. i want to check the surroundings, '' Yoongi said in the earpiece. Jungkook stood up and told taehyung he was gonna go to the 'toilet'. With that excuse he walked around first pretending he didn't know where it was and walked the wrong direction before walking back and walking all the way to the other side disappearing in the restrooms. He waited there for a moment. "Okay, I have located the target's phone. They are heading this way, keep your eyes open. and keep an eye on V he is still healing"

"You don't need to tell me that, I know he is still healing," Jungkook said looking at himself in the mirror. He brushed his hair back a few times before putting the hat back on. It was enough time wasted so he went back out his eyes looking around without making it obvious. and there he saw here. she headed to the bar ordering herself a drink. Jungkook averted his eyes and walked back to taehyung sitting next to him and sip his drink. He motioned with his eyes to his husband that she was the target. Taehyung nodded and grabbed his drink too. the lady smiled at the barman and took her glass. she was wearing a jacket and black pants, her shoes were sporty. not the lady they were expecting but it wasn't too surprising.

"Thank you again, i really needed this" the lady said and drank her glass empty quickly. "can i have some water bottle too, i will take it with me"

"not staying tonight?" the barman asked as he got the lady water like she asked.

"no i have something to do first. tomorrow i will be back" she paid the man his money and left the bar with her water. Taehyung was the first to leave the bar, leaving Jungkook there to pay after a bit. The red haired fixed his hood of the jacket he was wearing as he followed the girl a few meters behind. He made sure to make it seem he was just heading somewhere by crossing the road and pretending he was waiting for the bus on the other side. She looked back once when she was about to cross the road but didn't seem suspicious of anything. While Taehyung stayed at the bus stop and watched her figure walk away in the street Jungkook came to him. He had picked up some items from his bag and handed a gun to taehyung who hid it behind his belt giving Jungkook a nod.

"don't overdo yourself cupcake" Jungkook said before they started catching up with the lady who turned a corner at the end.

"Don't worry, besides I have you too," Taehyung said and smiled. Jungkook just kept silent, giving only a simple nod. He wasn't so sure about that himself anymore. but he will still do whatever he can. The day taehyung got shot was like a part of jungkook got cut away. it broke a deep crack in his normally so untouched self confidence.

Jungkook and Taehyung had followed the girl all the way out of the city, she was up to something seeing she was walking this odd way. Jungkook wondered what she was about to do. Was she gonna break in? not that jungkook cared, he just had to kill her, claim his money and go. that's it. He didnt care what the people on his contract were about, he did not care one bit. He glanced at Taehyung at his side who, the one one he cared for, was him. no one else.

well yoongi too, yoongi was a good friend, he was his only friend and person besides taehyung who he trusted. he may not say things like that directly but inside that what he felt. Yoongi knew that Jungkook was somewhere still the same as the first time they met, he knew Jungkook saw him as a friend, and he knew jungkook didn't speak about things like that. but that was okay, Yoongi knew.

"Where is she going...she won't stop," Taehyung said. they neared a building, the lady still didn't stop. she walked with determined steps inside the empty building disappearing in the dark shadows of the place. That's when Jungkook stopped walking and put a hand in front of Taehyung top stop too.

"what's wrong?" taehyung asked looking at jungkook.

"you stay here.."
