21: weakness

It's been ages and Jungkook still hasn't heard anything about seokjin. The raven was beyond tired. He was all worked up and saying many times he was gonna kill the doctor but he kept himself together by pacing around and talking to himself.

Suddenly the door opened and Jungkook's head snapped to the doorway where Seokjin stood.

"If he's dead I will kill you!" Jungkook shouted before he let the other speak. "Now tell me, how is he?"

Seokjin gulped from the sudden burst of the criminal. He wasn't gonna deny he felt a bit scared. Because this was a serial killer in his house after all.

"well....He's alive..But-"

"but? But what?!" Jungkook shouted demanding answers.

"he is very weak, he lost a lot of blood. He will need time to heal. His bullet wound barely missed his lungs, if they got his he would be dead by now. If he's lucky he will heal. It will leave a scar for sure" seokjin said, trying to bring the news somewhat positive. He himself wasn't sure if he could save Taehyung but the boy's heart was beating stable now. It seemed to have worked.

"h-he's alive?" Jungkook asked, his voice calming.

"Yes, you can see him now if you want. He will not wake up now. He will later on his own when his body is ready" Seokjin said while following an impatient jungkook that entered the room where his husband was.

"I don't care, I'm just happy he is alive..." Jungkook smiled as he grabbed his husband's and completely ignored seokjin's existence now. "Hey Cupcake......See its okay, you will be okay. '' Jungkook said and placed a kiss on the wedding ring on taehyung's finger. "but heal faster okay, i don't like worrying"

Meanwhile Seokjin stood in the doorway looking at the two fascinated. He thought it was very interesting how you see and hear news of the criminal that he is heartless and a crazy person. But Seokjin now saw someone who loves someone dearly. Yes jungkook still didn't look okay, his words and actions were a bit off..But that doesn't take away the meaning behind them.

"this boy is his weakness it seems" Seokjin said. "just as we thought" and with that he walked out of the room.

Location: seoul - crime scene - 6:55 am

Hoseok looked at the workers' photograph the scene they made last night. It was a mess. Hoseok followed the blood trail, last night an officer of his team shot someone but wasn't sure who he hit. Hoeok had sent the blood away last night to get inspected and was now waiting for the results. It could be either Bunny or Taehyung.

"uhm mr.Jung '' someone came up to him.

"yes?" Hoseok turned around and took the envelope from the man.

"the results came in and the blood is from Kim Taehyung" The man said while Hoseok looked at the papers that showed the results and match of the blood. The detective cursed and sighed calming himself. They didn't mean to hit taehyung. Taehyung should have stayed unharmed. Was the boy okay? What if he died that would be very bad. They would have killed an old friend which he didn't want. He was a bit scared of the anger he may have awoken in the criminal. Jungkook for sure was gonna come after his men now.

"i see. Thanks." Hoseok walked to Namjoon and showed him the results. His partner handed it back and had the same look as hoseok on his face.

"Maybe we should put the officer who fired the gun in protection. He is gonna come for him. We could use it to set up a trap as well"

"Namjoon, you big brain, that's perfect," Hoseok said. That namjoon could think of something that fast. "I will suggest it to my higher ups to see if they agree.

"We can't let bunny kill an officer '' Namjoon said following hoseok towards the car leaving the scene. "also, i came to notice Seokjin called in sick today. he seemed fine yesterday"

"really?" Hoseok asked. "What did he have?"

"i don't know, he didn't tell me" namjoon shrugged

"Okay" Hoseok said and stepped into the car. "maybe i will pay him a visit to give him a recovery gift"

"i think he would like that" Namjoon smiled. "he likes gifts a lot, he tells me about it often"

"How nice" Hoseok smiled too and waited for his partner to buckle up before driving away.
