"Cal?" someone called, the voice musical. Right now, Leo couldn't care enough to try and identify it.
"Yeah?" Calypso didn't turn away as she answered distractedly. The person must not have heard, calling out again.
"Calypso where are you?"Now Claypso lifted her head, turning towards the voice.
"Zoe." She murmured, suprised. "Shit."She stepped away, brushing off her dress, explaining rapidly.
"That's my little sister Zoë, shes the one I came here with. Ohh shes going to make so much fun of me. I have to go with her, and I probably should have gone home a while ago and-"
"You have to leave?"
"Yeah."
"Ok."
Leo reached out and fixed her hair, pushing the stands back behind her ears.
A little goodbye.
As soon as his hand left her face, she yanked him by the collar, pecking him softly on the mouth. She pulled away again and bit her lip, hesitant. The wind picked up, blowing her hair in wild directions. It carried Calypsos voice to him.
"See you next week?"
An invitation.Leo was smiling so much tonight it was starting to hurt.
"See you then sunshine."Calypso turned, and fled the alley. He saw her as she walked closer to the sound of her sisters voice.
"I'm here!" Cal called.
"Wheres here?"
"I'm coming Zoë."
"Why were you in an alleyway?"
"Because it was nice."
"I think I know why."
"Oh shush."
"Was it the latino you were eyeing?"
"Shush!"
"It totaly was"
"Ugh."
"I'll never understand what you see in men."
"I think I knew that when you joined the hunters."
"Yes but I like to vocalize my thoughts."Moments later, Calypso and her sisters voices faded. Their footsteps leading far away.
It had all gone fast. And the next thing he knew Leo was alone. The night went quiet, or as quiet as it gets in New York city, and Leo leaned against the alley wall. He caught up with Jason and Piper, the three demigods packing up and heading out. Their night at the love shack over. Later, Leo found himself lying alone in bed in his cabin, oddly calm. A night breeze colled him through an open window. He didnt try to sleep, he just lay there awhile, the color red on his mind.
