Melissa was sweeping the floors of the house, when Simon came up to her. "Mom I'm hungry!" She smiled, "Ok, lets see what we have in the fridge" Melissa opened up the fridge, The cool air rushing out. "It looks like we are out of meat, Simon would you be a dear and go ask your father to get some?" Simon nodded and ran off.                                                                                                                   Melissa sighed, when was the last time that we ran out of meat? She thought to herself.                    Oh well I guess we will have to go out and get some later.

Simon ran over to his dad, and pulled on his pant leg. "Yes, bud?" His dad flipped down the corner of a newspaper, and looked down at Simon, "Mom says that we need more meat." His father stood up and headed for the kitchen. Simon followed him.                                                                "You stay in here with your mother, I'll be right back with the meat."  And Simon's dad walked away.

Grace finished reading her book, She put the book on the side table and started walking to her door. That's when she saw it again. The blood pooling on the floor, from the corner of her room. Grace screamed. She dashed out of her room and right into her moms arms. "Woah what happened honey?" Grace burst out crying, "There was blood! a-and it was all over the walls!"             Her mom looked scared, "Let's go check out your room, And see what happened."

Melissa flipped the switch to Grace's bedroom. Nothing was there, "Next time you try and trick me like that, your going to get grounded Grace." The look on Melissa's face was hard, Grace gulped. "I swear it was in that corner of the room!" Melissa turned her head to face Grace, "No more of this Bullshit. Am I clear!?" Grace nodded. "Good."  Melissa walked out of the room.

Simon was sitting on the floor in his room. Still questioning what is up in the attic Why can't we go up there? What are they hiding? That's when he made his decision.                                                                                                           He was going up into the attic.
