Simon was a good kid, right? Well not any more. He was standing at the attic door, his slowed movements  towards the doorknob his hand almost in its grasp. That's when he felt it on his fingertips the smooth cold and hard surface. Simon twisted the doorknob and pulled. It made a small creaking noise at first but then it stopped. The stairs up to the attic were dusty and old.  He could see a small window at the top of the staircase, the light of the moon beaming through that small piece of glass. Simon was still at the first step so he slowly shut the door behind him. He sighed when the door shut, turning his head slowly towards the small window again. Simon walked up the creaky stairs, it was like they were in pain from being stepped on. When Simon got to the top of the stairs he turned his head to see both sides of the attic. there was at table, and a freezer? Simon walked over to the freezer and opened it. The cool air rushed out. He looked down into the freezer... and screamed.

Grace woke up that morning feeling off. She still hopped out of bed and walked out to the kitchen. Simon wasn't out there like normal, maybe he was being a regular person now and sleeping in. Grace went over to the table and sat down with her mom and dad. Grace's mom had her hands together in a tight knot. Her face looked sad and worried. "what happened?" Grace's mom looked over at her. "Simon has gone missing..." Grace was shook, it was like she couldn't move. "Well we have to go look for him!" She yelled. Her dad looked over at her. "We tried most of the near woods. but we couldn't find him." Grace looked over at him. She flushed with anger. "Well! I'm going to look for him myself!!" She stormed off to outside. "No! Wait!" Her mom yelled for her, but Grace didn't care she was going to go look for him. Outside was a fall breeze, she shivered. But marched forward anyway. She searched for him everywhere. That's when she saw it. A piece of cloth. She picked it up, It was bigger then she thought. The fall leaves sprinkled off of the shirt. The red shirt was Simon's shirt. Grace inspected it, Huge claw marks on the front. Bloodstains all over the front.  Grace looked down at the ground where she found it. Blood trails leading into the forest.
