Simon woke up once again, he saw someone new. Someone who he hadn't seen before. She turned her head towards him, It was Grace. She died. Simon ran over and hugged her, She hugged back. He was so happy to finally be with her, after all those horrible days that he couldn't hug her every morning. Grace sighed and then finally said, "I miss you too, but we got to find a way to stop them." Grace looked down into simons, now dark blank eyes. "I know thats what i've been doing this whole time." Simon said. "I know that they can see you. Maybe we can get them to explain what is going on." Grace nodded in agreement. They walked over to the front of the house, Simon and Grace walked through the front door, and in the house was Melissa and Jeremiah. They were talking about something, Simon couldn't hear them though they were too far away.
Grace moved in slowly through the front door and motioned Simon to come through too. Soon Grace sprinted at Melissa and tackled her, nocking them down on the floor. "What?! Where did you come from?!" Melissa screamed. "I thought I killed you!" Melissa was struggling to get back up. "Your going to explain what you are doing." Grace said to her the emotions that she was feeling were anger and only anger. "No. I'll just make your suffering worse!!" Melissa said, she grabbed Grace and put her back onto the stove. "I'll make you into a nice dinner for me and Jeremiah..." She said as Melissa turned on the burner. But Grace didn't feel anything it was like the flame was moving right through her. And it was. It was moving right through her. "Huh?" Grace didn't know what was going on. Her head was spinning in all directions. But something was wrong, Grace looked down again. Once again her legs were gone. "Hey!" Grace cried. Melissa smiled and turned off the burner, "Looks like your in trouble." Melissa left Grace laying on the stove and walked over to Simon. "Now, look at you..." She bent down to pull his hair back. Simon swatted away her hand. "Don't touch me Melissa." Simon said. He hated her guts and always will. "Get away from me." Simon scowled, Melissa's face dropped. "I want to know why your killing children." Simon didn't like being treated like a little kid anymore, he was better then that. "Sure, Why not..." Melissa said, it wasn't like they could leave the property so they couldn't tell anyone.
"We call this process ,Tagen's, we feed you children until you turn 16. And as Grace here..." Melissa sighed, "She didn't want to join the chain. So now we have to find a new beautiful child and replace you and her." Simon didn't know what to say, instead he ran towards Grace hoping that her comfort would help him. "You monster, I don't understand why you would do such a thing" Grace said. Melissa shrugged and said "I did it for a reason you know, but I'm not going to tell you. But for now how about I set this house on fire and your souls will be free?" Melissa said, Grace shook her head. "We need to get rid of you first." Simon said as he grabbed a knife out from the holder on the counter. The sound that the knife made when taken out was chilling . He held it in his hand with a smile on his face. Simon lunged for Melissa, he was running with rage towards her. The knife pointed at her heart, "That's not going to do anything." Melissa said. At that spilt second she moved out of Simons rage path.
Simon's knife went flying into the wall along with himself too. Simon fell down onto the floor while still holding the knife, "Come back here!" he screamed at Melissa. But before he could get up Jeremih stoped him. "You didn't think I wouldn't stop you? I guess we'll have to get rid of you instead." He smiled at Simon, even if he already had a grim smile, he smiled bigger then that. Simon gulped as he bent down to pick him up. Jeremih's hands felt warm to Simon's skin but he didn't want to focus on that. So Simon screamed Grace's name, knowing she would be able to help him. But she never came instead Simon could see her body laying on the floor limply. Her neck out of the place that it should be, Simon screamed again for help but once again on one came to save him.
Jeremih carried Simon up stairs to the attic, the struggle of his body made him feel happy and same with the cries for help, Jeremih walked up the stairs slowly and shifted his head towards the light of the small window. Simon was still kicking and screaming as Jeremih strapped him down onto the bloody table. Once he was done Simon stopped, and moved his head with Jeremih's movement. Then silence fell across the house.
Simon screamed a blood curdling scream, and the glass from the window shattered and went into Jeremiah's eye and whole left side of his face. "You brat!" Jeremiah shouted at Simon, he smiled as Jeremiah said that. "Now i'll die knowing that you got what you deserved." Simon said, he had a weak smile as he knew he was going to rest. He heard Jeremiah try to attack him but it would be to late Simon, would be far to gone. So he just smiled to show that he had done what needed to be done. Jeremiah made it to him but he was gone. No more Simon, no more Grace. Time to restart, Time to make another batch, time to move one, Time to do all of these things at once maybe. Just maybe. The Chain will start again. The Tagen's will start again...
