In a room, somewhere in a small town called Leadworth, two siblings were sat in their room. Nothing special, right?

Wrong.

These girls were afraid. A thing was in their wall and they wanted it gone. So, the eldest girl would pray for any living thing in the world to get rid of it and save them the torment it gave.

However, the youngest girl did not pray. Something told her this...this crack in their wall was not something a policeman of santa could get rid of.

They needed a miracle, and the girls did not have miracles In their lives.

"Amelie." The younger girl with big doe eyes croaked out. The voice from the W shaped crack was starting again. Prisoner Zero has escaped.

"Vanadey, enough." Amelia Pond begged, giving her five year old sister a look over her shoulder.

"But–"

"Just go downstairs!" Amelia snapped and Vanadey jumped in her skin, quickly making a run for the stairs. Knowing her mistake, Amelia went to speak and call her sibling back, but she huffed and shook her head instead. She kneeled down by her bed and held her hands together, starting her prayer. "Dear Santa. Thank you for the dolls and pencils and the fish. It's Easter now, so I hope I didn't wake you, but honest, it is an emergency. There's a crack in my wall. Aunt Sharon says it's just an ordinary crack, but I know it's not, because at night there's voices, so please, please, could you send someone to fix it? Or a policeman. Or a–" stopping herself, Amelia heard a crash in the garden. She then heard the slamming of the front door hitting the wall from being opened with great force. "Annie!" Amelia cried, spotting her sister running in the garden.

Grabbing a torch and slipping some shoes on, seven year old Amelia ran to her sister, huffing for breath a little.

Vanadey watched the scene in the garden. From a weird blue box materialising in her garden to crashing on her Aunt Sharon's shed. She immediately ran out, wondering what the box was. She watched in anticipation as the doors to the box opened towards the star lit sky.

The five year old girl jumped a little as a hook was thrown out and latched onto the side of the box. Not long after, with a few grunts, a soaking wet man emerged. His hair was dark brown, would probably bounce had it not been dripping wet. His shirt was blue and slightly tattered as he also wore a stripped red tie.

She looked the man in the eyes briefly. A connection seemingly to be made just by this contact.

The man, the Doctor, although he had no super hearing, heard the girls heartbeat. But it wasn't just one heart he could hear. It was two.

He suddenly felt tethered to the girl, wanting to protect her till the end of time. A familiarity in the girl's eyes made him feel somewhat calm. Ish.

"Could I have an apple?" He asked the red haired, doe eyed girl in front of him - mainly to break the silence. "All i can think about. Apples. I love apples. Maybe I'm having a craving? That's new. Never had cravings before." The Doctor felt a little happier about the fact he crashed in someone's garden when he heard the melodious giggle erupt from the youngest Pond.

"You can have all the apples." The girl softly replied as the Doctor sat on the edge of the box and peered into it, from where he climbed from.

"Come here, look at that." He beckoned the younger girl to come closer, which she did.

Vanadey felt an undeniably strong feeling of trust towards this strange man with his strange box. She remembered what it felt like to be alone, and she remembered that it was how she felt constantly. With Amelia having her own friends, Vanadey was often left out. She was viewed as abnormal because of the answers she could give about questions like math equations.
