Moon's POV

I opened my eyes and heard the sounds of small plinks.

I sat up from my place on the couch and looked over at Mikey. He was humming in the kitchen and cooking something odd looking.

I stood up and walked over, seeing the disgusting green and dark pink mass in the pan.

"Uh. What the heck is that?" I asked.

He looked over and the behind me.

"Morning Moon. Morning Leo." He said.

I turned around and saw Leo limping over behind me.

I smiled as he came to a stop next to me.

"Goodmorning Moon." He said.

"Morning."

He looked over at Mikey's pan and grimaced.

"Is that was I think it is?"

Mikey nodded joyfully, "Yeah, it's been such a long time since we had some. It's not better than pizza, but we can go to the store later."

"Mikey. We don't eat that anymore." Leo said, shivering.

I frowned. What was somethi-

Oh.

"Did you actually go outside and get algae and worms to cook for breakfast Mikey?" I asked fearfully.

"You better believe it!"

I gagged and turned around to leave.

Leo followed me to the couch, where he put on, you guessed it, Space Heroes.

Not Crognard the Barbarian. I don't even know how they got it.

I was watching it for a few minutes before something else invaded my mind. Supposedly, Leo's medicine is going to make the creep today.

Honestly, he doesn't actually change anything execpt give Leo some hope about being about to fight in his weakened state. Probably not worth it, but who knows if the medicine helps him, even if he doesn't feel that way.

"Moon. You're eyebrows are scrunching." Leo told me, not even looking away from the screen.

I immediately relaxed my face muscles.

I turned around at the sound of a small yelp and saw Raph trying to throw away Mikey's... food. If it can even be called that.

I shivered.

"I can't believe you guys ate that for so long." I told Leo.

"It's all we had." He replied distantly.

I looked over at the screen and saw a spaceship with Captain Ryan in it. He was shooting at a giant worm. How ironic.

"You know, you're practically made of worms at this point." I said.

Leo gagged and turned away from the screen to look at me in disgust.

"Ew. Moon. Ew." He said.

I laughed at his horrified face.

I spotted a vial of glowing medicine in his hand and sighed.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing." I smiled.

"You know, I don't think we ever got to finish our talk when the invasion started." Leo said.

I grinned mischievously.

"What else did you want to say?" I asked.

He leaned closer and we stared into each others eyes teasingly.
