Katherine's POV
I walked confidently towards the parking lot with a trembling Amy beside me. I looked slightly at her, she was looking down at the floor and her face was burning bright red. I guess she truly was nervous. Well, I can't blame her. I can be quite intimidating.
We walked in silence until we reached my car. Once we did I stopped in front of the passenger seat and opened the door for her. She blushed profusely but said a small "thanks" before entering the car. I smiled brightly at her even though I was dying inside.
I couldn't believe she was actually going to my house. That's insane, I mean, I fucking hated her and now I was supposed to act all sweet and all with her. It was excruciating.
She on the other hand seemed to like it though. Well, who wouldn't really?I walked around the car and made my way to the drivers seat. I quickly opened the door and got in. Amy was looking out the window, she heard me entering the car and I saw that she started shaking slightly. I couldn't understand her. It was almost like she was afraid of me.
"Hey, you ok? You're shaking." I said looking at her, she looked down at the car floor.
"I'm ok." She simply said and I shrugged. If she didn't want to tell me what was wrong I didn't really give a fuck.
"Ok then..." I said and started the car.
We drove in silence for a few minutes and the silence was starting to bother me so I turned the radio on. Amy looked at me with a smile on her face but shortly after blushed and turned her head to the window.
"Never took you for a fan of classical rock." She said still looking out the window. I cussed myself remembering that I still had my I-pod plugged in. It may sound stupid but no one really knew the things I truly enjoyed. Actually most people in my circle of friends thought the kind of music I liked sucked.
"Yeah, I guess my father borrowed my car and plugged his I-pod in." I said trying to avoid the subject. She smiled still looking at the window.
"Well, your dad has good taste in music. Bon Jovi is awesome." She commented and I looked at her in amazement. It was hard to see someone my age that actually liked the classics.
"He does." I said smiling and looking ahead.
The rest of the ride was silent, but not the uncomfortable kind of silence I was experiencing earlier.
This one was comforting, we both had our minds on something and we enjoyed the ride as we listen to music. I could never do that with one of my friends. They couldn't shut up for a second even to save their lives. I chuckled to myself. Oh the irony, here I was finding it comfortable to be around the person I hated the most. God, I might be getting sick.Once we got near my house I saw Amy gawking through the corner of my eyes. I smirked, she probably haven't even seen a house with more than two bedrooms. If she was surprised by just looking at the outside, imagine how she would be once she actually got inside.
I parked the car in front of the house and exited. I was too lazy to put in the garage, the chauffeur would take care of it. I mean, that's what he's paid for right?
Amy stepped out of the car shyly and I forced myself to smile at her. She gingerly smiled back but still didn't look me in the eye.
"Come on in." I said taking her hand and guiding her inside
Amy's POV
She took my hand, still with a beautiful smile on her face. I couldn't help but blush ten shades of red. She then pulled me inside the house and before I could stop myself I gasped at the sight.
