A/N: Hello there people, before I get into the curiosities, I do have something to say.
IT'S FINALLY OVER! Okay, it's been a long ride hasn't it? I think that the first thing I need to say is that I'm sorry, I'm sorry for bailing out on you guys for more than two years... But a lot happened, I won't go into it but just know it, I needed some time for myself at first, and then after, I think I kinda just gave up. The second thing is, I have to thank you guys, I know I've lost a lot of readers for being away for so long, and I want to thank the people that stuck with me, messaged me to ask me if I was ok and everything, it might not seem much, and sometimes I didn't even answer, but it was because I was going through stuff. So let this be your answer, and my most sincere thanks to each and every one of you.
But well, let's end this emotional speech, that's not really my style. So shall we go on to a few curiosities about this book?
*You guys are probably going to kill me for this one, but truth is, this is my least favourite book of all the ones I have written(the Bloodlust series being my favourite.) Don't get me wrong, I like it, but not nearly as much as the others. This one actually got me bored more than a few times.
*You might have noticed how Kate was the ultimate cliche (well to be honest, this whole fucking book was a cliche, but I diverge) at the beginning of the book, I did that for a reason. I wanted to see how she would grow and mature along the way.
*I absolutely hate books in which the characters fall in love too quickly. Total deal breaker for me. It's like, "I've known you for a week but I already want to marry you and have kids" that just doesn't work for me, which is why Kate was so "bipolar" as you guys so kindly put it, and also why Amy didn't fall in love with her for a while either, they had a crush on each other and there was attraction, of course, but love is something else. (And I still feel like they fell in love too fast... But I didn't want the book to be too long lol)
*Even though this was my least favourite book to write, it was still the most successful. Ha, go figure it, but I'm just glad everyone liked it.
*I thought you would all HATE Diana, but I was surprise to see that there were quite a lot of Diana/Amy shippers out there lol
*Amy is pretty much inspired on a younger version of myself. (I'm not talking about the fucked up family of course, but personality wise, yes she's basically a younger me.)
*For some reason this book was slightly harder to write than my other ones, when I would spend maybe a few hours to write something on another book, this one took me a day or two. I don't know why, but I just kept stuck at parts, I knew what was going to happen but I didn't know how to put it in words. I guess I'm just more comfortable with writing fantasy.
*Probably the thing you guys will like most, yes! There is going to be a sequel! It is called "The Reunion."
*A lot of people asked me why I chose older people to represent 17 year olds, well the answer is, I knew that there was going to be a sequel, and honestly the sequel is the one I'm most excited about. It's going to be bolder, darker, and sure as hell won't be as innocent, just the way I like it.
*About the sex scenes, some of you may hate the fact that there weren't many(compared to my other books), some of you may like it, but here's why.
I think this book was more of a growing experience for Amy as well as Kate, and that made me focus much more on the story. Not that I feel like I don't focus on the story in my other books, but sex just fit better into them than it did on this one.*Random fact: I got Kate's parents' names out of my favourite band, Epica (from the lead singer, 'Simone' and the rhythm guitarist/Growler/Gutural vocalist, 'Mark')
*I am thinking of doing a full edit on the whole book now that I'm done with it. But the cringe of re-reading it is strong af... The first few chapters especially lol. Damn they suck and the grammar/writing is almost unbearable. I have no idea how you guys went through it... (So if I do it, it will probably take a looong time.)
Well I guess that's mostly it, check out the sequel, and hope you guys enjoyed this. I don't know when I'm going to post it, but it won't be long. So feel free to follow me so you get the notification when I do and feel free to read my other works as you wait!

Post scriptum: If by any case you guys have questions or if I neglected to put anything else up there, let me know, I'll do my best to answer and to put the answers in this chapter also.
