Waking up, Charlie groaned, looking at the figure sleeping beside her, hogging all of her blankets. He was supposed to be gone, to have left before she'd even woken up.
Pulling herself out of her warm cocoon of sheets, she roughly shook the man awake, "Eric, Eric get up."
"What? It's early babe, get back in bed." He mumbled sleepily, not noticing the blonde's eyes widen comically at the pet-name.
"Okay, get the hell up now." She ordered sternly, pulling the blankets away from him. "I'm gonna grab a quick shower, and when I come out, you better not be here. And also," she peeked her head back through the bathroom's door, "Do not call me babe. And I'm fairly certain we're done here."
Closing the door and locking it, she could hear him grumble angrily under his breath at the rude awakening, and she bit her lip, staring at her guilty-looking reflection.
"Don't look at me like that." She mumbled, "We're not going to see him again."
Sighing, she shed her clothing and entered her shower, allowing the freezing water to run over her.
She was a bad-girl, with little impulse control. Sublimating her need for Mark with a cheap alternative like Eric, who was not getting too attached.
Bad girls did not deserve warm showers.

She was in a bad mood when she joined her friends in the hospital. Hair pulled on top of her head in a messy bun, and eyes narrowed in clear annoyance.
"What's up with you?" Murmured Mer worriedly, drawing Cris' attention to the girl as well.
Glancing at her people, she prepared to mutter 'nothing', before remembering that these women knew her best, and would spot deceit immediately.
"Eric the oncologist called me babe, and he was still in my bed when I woke up, hogging the blankets and making me shiver in my sleep." She muttered instead, arms crossed overhear chest.
"He called you babe?" Scoffed Cris, "poor man didn't understand you don't do attachments, huh?"
"I mean, I don't know how much clearer I could have made it. I literally informed him before the first time we slept together that this meant nothing. And I've been kicking him out the minute the sex is over." Shaking her head, she groaned, "For god's sake, I literally called him a booty-call. He wasn't even deserving of a 'friends-with-benefits' label!"
Wrapping a friendly arm around her shoulders, Mer soothed, "How about I buy you a coffee? Would that turn your frown upside-down? Because moody Charlie is kind of pissy and mean."
Slumping against her, and laying her head on Cris' shoulder, she murmured, "Yes, please."
"M&M ten in minutes, people." Announced Bailey as she headed towards them, prompting Charlie to frown in thought.
