Rubbing my eyes as I sat up, noticing the cold spot next to me. Left me to believe that Killian left awhile ago. Replaying the events that happened last night, I still cant believe that keke is engaged. She didn't even tell me! Marching down stairs to find the said person, walking into the kitchen spotting her almost immediately.

" Madi! You big jerk! Why didn't you tell me you were engaged to my favorite person here! " I cried out dramatically clinging to her.

" Babe, I'm so sorry! I didn't know how to tell you!" She cried holding onto me.

" Now who will I marry? Who will I bug when I have no one !" I said sadly

" You can always marry me " a deep voice rang out.

I frowned as I looked into kales eyes " Why would I marry an ocean?"

He glared " Very funny Lyre."

I sighed " I know I am, that's why everyone wants me."

" No one touches what's mine." I shivered as KIllians voiced echoed through the kitchen. I turn to face him.

" Since when am I yours? I have no recollection of you ever asking me to be yours."

He smiles " Soon I will but I want to make sure everyone is safe." I hummed and picked up a cookie and then throwing it at his face.

" I'm going to help the others bye stalker." I swayed my hips when I walked past him. Snickering as I heard him curse under his breath. Stifling a yawn as walked past the tall ocean sea food and into Rae's room thing.

" Hey bubs, need some help?"

They looked up and smiled " Hey baby! Sure I could use you for some entertainment. Its so boring setting everything up again by myself "

I smiled and flopped down on the floor playing with a random carpet string that was lose. " So how long have you and Killian know each other?" I asked curiously.

They hummed in response " We've been friends most of our lives, even before all of this mafia gang bullshit he got into"

I blinked in shock " How long has he been in it?"

" Well, after made his father step down I believe. So maybe 10 years?"

I frowned " I don't even know how old Killian is "

They laughed " Don't worry, Kill isn't really open to these things. But he just turned 32"

I was at a loss for words. I didn't expect him to be that much older than me. I sighed " So I'm just a kid to him? Right"

Rae frowned " Kid, Kill doesn't care bout your age. Now if you were under 18 then yes he would mind but you're not. I haven't seen him this lively in a long time, so keep in mind that you're not just some kid to him ight?"

I noticed a norther accent when they started getting serious " You're not born from north Carolina?" They snorted and laughed so loud " Good god no kid, I was born and raised in North jersey "

I frowned " North jersey ?"

They smiled " It's the rougher part of jersey in a sense."

I hummed " What part? Like what city ?"

They sighed and rubbed the back of their neck " Well me and my family moved around a lot, but I was born in Elizabeth hospital, I lived in Rahway, Linden, Carteret, and then I went down south for a bit like, Ocean Gate, Bayville, then went to brick, then back to Rahway. Had a falling out with some people and ran so I went around Elizabeth for awhile. Then I met Killian walking around like a lost puppy. It was funny though."

I smiled slightly at the thought of seeing Killian looking lost. " I bet that was a sight to see"

They smiled softly " Yeah, we kinda just hit it off after that."

I hummed " So how'd you get down here?"

They frowned deeply " ah well some stories are meant for bedtime so lets go see if they have dinner ready." We walked down to the kitchen and sat down at the island bar.

" Killian said you called him a honey bun one day "

I snorted " I called him many other things and that's all he told you?"

They laughed " No its just the only part I paid attention too!" We both busted out laughing as Killian walked through the door

" Nice to know you don't listen to you're boss"

They snorted " you're my best friend first dumbass."

He hummed and kissed my head " Did you have good time with Rae?"

I nodded " I did, they're very easy to talk too."

He smiled " They are, even though they don't listen when I talk " He playfully glares at them.

Rae stuck their tongue out " At least I take the time to ignore you."

I snickered lightly " What's so funny?" Kale asked

" KALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I jumped up and launched myself into his chest

" I missed you too Ly." He held onto me tightly. He sat me down and kissed my head just like Kill did, but I frowned when the brothers glared at each other. I ate happily as me and Rae continued to talk computers.

" Man its so nice to have someone to geek out with!" They said happily

" Well I hate to cut this short but I need to talk to Lyre." Killian stated, frowning slightly as I stood up " Did I do something wrong?"

He frowned " No, but it needs to be private." I nodded as he lead me up to our room. He locked the door

" Has Cerulean ever been overly friendly?" I scoffed " Seriously? Kale is my bestest friend you jerk. He would never do that."

Killian glared into my soul. "How long has he been kissing your head and holding you like that?" I frowned slightly " Since we met 4 year ago. Why? What's the meaning of this?"

" Cerulean is in love with you Lyre."
