As I was still sitting at the studio trying to think of lyrics to new songs, I couldn't help but think about Connor. He's been my best friend for years now ever since he went on a vacation with his family to Australia when he was 6. Our parents met on that trip and instantly became friends. Me being about three at the time I don't remember much except for a little Connor playing with me in the water at a beach I knew very well since I lived right next to it. We became friends that day as well despite the age gap and the fact he lived on the other side of the world. Connors family started to come back every year during the summer and Connor and I started skyping when we got old enough. We skyped everyday despite the time difference. When I was 18, about a year ago, I flew to America to live with Connor and have since then. It's great to live with your best friend!! The reason I moved was because my old manager was rude so I dropped her and Connor, being the music lover and best friend he is, volunteered to be my new one to which I immediately accepted. So here I am a year later at 19 (Connor being 22), with a record deal, living with my best friend/ manager, and still I don't have the one thing I want in life. I'm completely and utterly in love with my best friend who happens to be a straight male, and yet all I can think about is how much I love him but can't find the guts to tell him because like I said he's straight so it will never work out.
