Made up place

Hours have passed, maybe even days, they've been walking for a long time only stopping when needed to. Hoping they can find a better place to live in, with the certainty of Louis who confidently said there was somewhere out there where they could live in a better place, and with clementine being determined to find it she set off with louis, violet and aj. Leaving behind the rest just incase anything goes wrong on their journey.

They were finally taking a break after walking for a few hours, finding anything near them that they could take along with them. "So this place shouldn't be too far away from the school right?" Clem asked louis who nodded his head. "Yeah maybe a few miles west from here and its path will show." She nodded as she sat down marking it down on paper.

Violet approached him frowning, "when are you gonna tell her its not real." She whispered as louis looked at her guilt written all over his face. "How we walked so far and I dont want to tell her now." Louis looked over at her. "Well tell her soon because this is getting ridiculous, louis she has AJ with her and being out here were lucky we haven't ran into any walkers yet." She said before walking away.

Yes the place they were looking for is and was not real, a made up place louis thought wouldve been okay to make up and think nobody would want to search for it, but clem was persistent on finding this place, there wasn't much around the school anymore and food and supplies were running low. Clem stood up and folded the map putting it in her pocket.

"Let's go, are you sure its this way louis." He looked at her nodding his head slightly looking back at violet. "Y-yeah." Clem turned to continue walking but stopped to look at Aj. "What are you doing?" She chuckled kneeling to see what he was focused on. "An ant trail, they're red ants." Clem frowned. "I don't think you should touch those." Aj looked up at her confused. "Why not?"

"Well some say they bite and are poisonous." Aj stood up, looked down at the ant's then stepped on them. "Aj?!" Clem looked at him confused. "Well you said they bite." She shook her head before continuing the walk there, this walk was dangerous, leaving the kids back at the school and risking getting caught outside of those walls.

By now it was becoming obvious that this place wasnt a place at all. "Louis.." they all stopped at clem turned to look at him. "This was all made up right?" She looked at him as he scratched his neck nodding his head. "Well fuck.." he looked down embarrassed to say the least as clem paced back and forth.

"I should've known." She whispered walking away from the three of them. "Were going back." She began walking as violet scoffed. "Thats gonna be a few hours clem, we should find somewhere to rest." Clem turned then scoffed. "Shouldve told that to louis before he decided to go along with this."

"I didnt go along with it, i never even said it was real." Clem looked down at the ground. "Then why didnt you tell me before we decided to go and walk this fucking far?" She asked as he looked nervous and didnt respond.

"We'll find somewhere to rest, but when we get back, dont talk to me at all louis, i dont even want to hear any excuses." She walked away as aj looked back at louis before following her.

"See louis, i fucking told you." Violet pushed louis to walk as he held his head down, they walked a few minutes before coming across some kind of cabin to lay in and rest for walking back tomorrow.
