"I told you he wouldn't want to go." clementine  retorted as she walked over to the front door picking up her bags. this whole week they've been planning on going to LA for a few days to meet his parents since all she ever did was speek to them over the phone and she would be lying if she said she wasnt a little bit nervous.

"uh we should get going louis." she faced louis who was in the kitchen on his phone still trying to call marlon. "yeah alright hold on." clem grunted as she turned on her heel and made her way to the car putting all the bags in the trunk of the car. once she finished loading the car louis walked out and locked the door before putting his keys back in his pocket.

"alright im here." clem closed the trunk of the car and made her way to the car door as she got in then louis followed getting in after her. "okay so when we're gonna switch off and drive right?" louis nodded his head and she frowned slightly. "nope get out, ill drive i have a feeling you'll get distracted quickly." she got out the car as they began switching sides. "you really think id do that." he asked and clem chuckled. "i dont trust you after last time when we almost went off the road because you were too busy talking about.. whatever it was i forgot." they both got into the car as they buckled up and started the car.

"okay halfway there we can switch off okay. we can stop by 8-12 and get something from there then we hit the road." they both agreed making way over to 8-12 getting themselves something for then to eat while they drove, once they finished doing what they needed to do before leaving and getting onto the freeway.

as clem wss mostly focused on driving and louis who was already asleep she rolled her eyes as she looked over at him. "dork." since they were drivibg from colorado to california they would have to pass utah and nevada before getting to LA. they both agreed on stopping in utah to switch driving. but the whole drive there louis was sleep and she could do nothing else but blast her music in the car.

once she arrived next to a small convenience store she pulled into a spot before looking over at lohis who had his jacket now covering his face, she yanked the jacket from his face but no response. she smacked him across the face and still no movement. she unbuckled his seat belt and then got out the car cloing her door as she walked to ths other side. she opened his door and she climbed in as she placed herself onto his lap and sat there and wrapped her arms around his neck as she leaned down into his ear.

"alright i'm awake" he said almost yelling as he finally got hold of her hands and she smiled getting up off of his lap amd out of the car. "alright get out plus we switch." she said as she left him in the car and walked inside the small store.

"you got way too much." clem glared at louis and rolled her eyes. "okay and?" she asked annoyed and louis shrugged as they settled down in the car and made room for their food as louis started up the car. "you drive the rest of the way up there." louis nods and clem gives him a thumbs up and buckled herself as the car pulled away from the store and made way back onto the road. once they got back to the road the drive was silent until clem reached for the radio volume and turned it up as a piano tune started playing and she turned her head tk look at louis. "you listen to the station too?" she asked and he nods his head. she sat back and opened her phone scrolling through youtube finding whatever she could find.

after some hours of driving clem put down her phone down now not interested in her phone she looked over at louis who was focus on the road probably more into the piano music playing through the car speakers. she looked him up and down. louis must've felt her gaze on him as he glanced over at her then shook his head. "nu uh, dont make that face." she giggled and looked up at him. "why not?" she teased as louis sighed then shook his head. she looked at him and when he seen her from the corner of her eye he frowned slightly. "if i have to pull over, you wont be able to walk for a week." he stated and she tilted her head reaching over ignoring his statement as she grabbed his thigh squeezing hard close to his crotch making him flinch slightly.
