'Stop Being Distant'

Louis and Clem have been dating for almost two years now, they were happy with Aj with them they were always happy with each other. Until a month before their anniversary, Louis started becoming distant and more secretive

Clem noticed it and the nights he never came home she didn't mind it she knew how hard his job was, but when she noticed his change in attitude it was the day of their anniversary he wasn't home, they planned this for a long time she waited for him to only have him tell her he couldn't make it he was "really busy" she knew something was up.

This happened for days, weeks, almost months but it all changed when she woke up and found nobody was at their home AJ, she called Lee in hopes of finding her younger companion, but he wasn't with him. She called everyone she thought AJ would possibly be with the last person she tried to call was Louis, to her surmise he didn't answer at all, it was well over 40 times she called, and his phone went straight to voicemail.  

So, she waited for him to come home he will eventually, right? 

She waited which seemed like forever, it was almost 4 in the morning she watched tv, made herself something to eat, even 'distracted' herself. She did everything to not get mad or at least worry but she couldn't help but worry, this wasn't like him, and it worried her but also upset her very much.

LOUIS POV

Louis who had hoped he could do everything without it being noticed, was at the amusement park with AJ, he wanted to ask AJ about Clem he knew he was being so distant and he only did it because he wanted to propose to her, they were only in their twenties and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her he planned everything for the proposal, he knew Clem was worried he didn't want to slip up and tell her or give any hints.

So, he ignored her he knew that ignoring her would only lead to something worse as well as bringing AJ into it all. He seen all the calls and text she's sent; he didn't want to be tempted into saying anything or slipping up. He had seen the text from her that said take AJ to Violet's place so when he was finished, he'd take him there.

While they were walking, Louis had seen a spot where they can sit down at, he led them over to the benches as they sat food in hand as they watched the scenery around them, Louis was hesitant, but he had the courage to speak up.

"AJ... how would you like it if I married Clem?." he said, and AJ looked at him wide eyes as he chewed on his pretzel.

"Married Clem?" he asked, and louis nodded.

AJ thought before smiling and nodding then he stopped and looked down.

"So then... Clem would be your wife... right?" he asked, and louis nodded again.

"She's been worried at you." he nodded his head "I'm know, i was planning on marrying Clem and I didn't want her to know..." Louis said and AJ hugged him

"You should marry Clem i want her to be happy!" he said happily, and Louis smiled standing and picking him up "Okay let's go I've got to talk to Clem, and you have to go to Violets." Louis said and AJ pouted.

"Why... I don't want to." "Tenns going to be there." Louis said and AJ immediately agreed. They walked back to the car and once they got buckled up, they drove off and made way to Violets house.

Louis just got to the house as he just dropped off AJ. He sighed before grabbing his keys and unlocking the front door and opened it to see Clem standing right there with only her robe on, God Louis loved that so much. He got it for her on their first anniversary and she never goes without it while she sleeps. Sometimes she'd tease him with it just so he she can have her way with him.

But this situation was different she was angry— no furious and she didn't look to happy she covered herself in her black lace robe that fit her perfectly and she crossed her arms glaring at him.

"So, care to explain why I wake up and find no one here, not even Aj." she said, and Louis scratched the back of his neck.

"I only took him to spend time with him." Clem eyes widen and she laughed softly and scoffed.

"So, you can spend time with him, a child, but you can't even spend time with your own girlfriend!" She said walking up to him and he sighed not wanting to look her up and down like he would any other time.

"It wasn't even that long and besides you told me to take AJ to violets and I did, he wanted to stay longer it wasn't me!" Louis said yelling he wasn't trying to argue with her.

"So, you seen my calls and text and don't reply!" She said yelling now she backed away from him and Louis shook his head again not to say no.

"Clem you don't understand, I work, okay? I'm just trying to support us okay..."

She didn't buy it, she walked away turning her back from him he wasn't going to let it go this way. And so, he walked over to her and picked her up bridal style, she screamed and hit him yelling for him to put her down, but he only walked outside forcing her into the car with no shoes and he buckled her up. She just gave up and sat there.

Louis got in the car and didn't even think about putting his seatbelt on and he started the car and drove away.

He made way to the hotel room he got which was at the top of the hotel. it was more like a suite than a hotel room. He carried Clem out the car. Luckily there was no one in the lobby when he entered, he walked up to the elevators and made his way to his room, their room.

"Close your eyes..." He looked at her as he smirked. "Why?" She asked becoming suspicious as he chuckled softly. "Just do it okay, you'll love it..." She rolled her eyes as she closed them. Once she did, he smiled before unlocking the door leading her in cautiously.

Once he had her in, he closed the door his hand nestled on the small of her back as he made her stop. He got down on one knee in front of her as he smiled wide. "Open your eyes.." he whispered as she opened them immediately, they widened in shock. 

"Clementine, my love, my world, my everything. You helped me through a lot I know I might've missed our anniversary but I'm sorry I was busy planning this..." He opened the box to show a silver ring with a shiny diamond in the shape of a heart it wasn't big but pretty. Clem looked at it as she put a hand over her mouth and Louis looked at her in her eyes.

"Clementine, will you marry me?" He asked Clem was shocked, was this real, was she in a dream. she pinched herself hard and winced at the pain, Louis watched her and chuckled softly, she looked back at him, and she nodded tears failing to not come out.

"Yes Louis, of course I'd fucking marry the shit out of you." She said and Louis slid the ring on her finger then they both hugged while kissing. They broke the kiss panting as they both stared at each other for a second until Louis looked down seeing her exposed breast and cleavage against his chest and he smirked before sliding his hand up her back under the robe before wrapping his arm around her waist pulling her close.

Clem looked down at his arm then at him before she pulled him in for a kiss again as their lips moved in sync both fighting for domination but of course Louis just knew how to take over, like always. 

They both pulled away and they looked at each other panting trying to catch Louis picked up Clem, both her legs wrapped around his waist as he carried her over to the bed and he placed Clem onto the bed climbing on top of her, his face immediately making its way to her neck as he sucked and bit at her neck Clem moaned her hands making its way to his hair as she pulled on his locs.
