"Hey Painty! Look what I found!"-I rushed over to Painty with some flowers in hand. I brushed the snow off its petals and showed them-"Flowers! White flowers! Aren't they pretty?"

"Flowers?"-They turned around while sketching stuff on their canvas.

"Yeah! Flowers! They're white and pretty! I've never seen these before, can I name it?"

"Oh, those are called snowdrops."-Painty replied quickly.

"Snowdrops?"-I tilted my head and frowned a bit-"Aww fooey! I thought I've found a new type of flower!"

"Don't sweat, I think you'll make your grand flower discovery one day."-Painty patted my head as they continue their drawing-"What makes you so interested in them?"

"Cuz I wanna make you a gift Painty!"-I smiled and ran off as they returned to their canvas.

Painty is really passionate about art and everything has to do with it. Ever since I live with them, it isn't weird to see Painty just sitting in the veranda for hours just doodling stuff on their canvas. Not gonna lie, they're super good at it, but they just kinda get too deep in the moment you know?

Right now, Painty is drawing something, I dunno what is it because they hate it when someone sees their unfinished work and hides it when I want to look at it. Probably something really awesome, they're really protective of this piece and their face turns pink when I took a small peek earlier.

I run off to some other cool places, hoping to find something to impress Painty. They're making something nice, I should give them a small gift! I dig into the snow, fluffy white frost building up on my mittens. Eventually, I found a large stick just casually lying in the snow. It has a vibrant brown color with a few dry leaves stuck to its side! I've never seen sticks this pretty before, it isn't too dry or ugly, and the leaves on it are like icing on the cake!

"Yo Paintypal, check this out!"-I yelled and waved the stick like a flag.

"Yeah Lightbulb?"-They replied, eyes glued to the canvas.

"Look! It's a stick! A very nice stick!"-I swung the stick in front of their face and they just pushed it away-"Cmon Painty! Isn't it a very good looking stick? Imma call it 'Simon'! Simon the Stick!"

"It's just a stick Lightbulb. Dry branches falling from trees. Nothing special about it."-They sighed and pinched their nose-"Plus why the heck would you give it a name?"

"Don't say that to Simon! He's cool just the way he is! Plus, he makes good snack material too!"-I pouted and started chewing on Simon, causing Painty to slap it away from me-"Ahemnyemnyem-Hey!"

"Don't just eat stuff that you found on the ground, that's gross!"-Painty growled at me angrily-"Not to mention last year you ate snow straight from the ground and had a brain freeze!"

"She's called Samantha! And she's the most delicious scoop of snow I've ever eaten!"-I crossed my arms, earning an annoyed sigh from Painty. I walked away and buried Simon where I found him-"Rest easy Simon, your sacrifice isn't in vain..."

Welp, turns out Painty doesn't like eating sticks as much as I do. I thought any beasts like them would do that. Gotta find something else to impress them! Aha! Maybe a miniature version of them made out of snow? Yeah! Painty would probably love that! Lemme just gather some stuff for that, hold on...

"Oi tall pal! Lookie! Lookie!"-I ran to Painty's side, holding the tiny snowman in my hand. I stumbled on the snow a bit but still got to them anyway-"I've got a gift for you!"
