Wonwoo watched the stars shining above the midnight sky as he was laying down on the grass. The sky was so beautiful, especially Mingyu.

It was silent.

It wasn't unbearable, rather— it was pleasant. They enjoyed every single second with each other, not bothering to say a single word.

Wonwoo had his head on Mingyu's chest while Mingyu on the other hand, had his fingers tangled in Wonwoo's hair, stroking it.

"Hey Gyu..." Wonwoo finally spoke, breaking the silence. "Hm?" Mingyu hummed, not really interested in having a conversation. But if it's Wonwoo, then why say no?

"Do you ever think I'll ever make it to the sky with you?" Wonwoo spoke softly,
wondering. "Of course you will, Wonu. That way, we won't have problems anymore. Right?" Mingyu glanced at Wonwoo, who was smiling.

Oh, how beautiful he was.

"I wish that would happen soon, I can't wait Gyu.." Wonwoo whispered but was clear enough for Mingyu to hear. I mean, they were really close to each other.

"Soon, you can. But now, enjoy the life you're having. Have fun, live the life you've always wanted. I'm happy to be by your side right now.." Mingyu coughed at the end of his sentence. He sounded weak, his voice was barely heard.

"I will, Gyu.."

"Wonu?" Mingyu spoke. Wonwoo just let out a small "Yes?" as a reply. "Just know.. I will love you, unconditionally." Mingyu let out, closing his eyes and intertwining his fingers with Wonwoo's.

"I love you unconditionally too, Gyu." Wonwoo took a deep breath as he can feel Mingyu's heartbeat getting slower by the second.

"Rest well, Gyu. I'll see you at the sky, ok?" Wonwoo felt himself tearing up.

Rest well, my Gyu.
