"Really Mingyu? A 95?! Not a perfect score?! That's it. I'm going to take your phone, you're always on that shitty thing! You could've done better without yourself being on that damn phone every second!" His father shouted at him full of anger, why couldn't he just be proud?

"Honey, please stop. Mingyu did a great job, let's be grateful and proud of him." His mom tried to calm his husband down. Mingyu's mom was right too.. he should be grateful, shouldn't he?

"All I did was try my best! This the kinda thanks I get? Are you okay dad? My grades are higher than yours ever were! Shouldn't you be thankful for that? What kind of father are you?" Mingyu snapped back at his father.

Slap.

Mingyu's eyes widened, so was his mom's. As Mingyu touched his cheek, his eyes went watery, it stung really bad and left a very evident mark on his face.

"Honey, runaway. You have to" His mom whispered to him, voice trembling almost as if she was begging. His mom didn't want him to go, but she knew Mingyu suffered enough.

"Fuck you, dad." Mingyu said to his father with not hesitation before he went in his room to pack his things.

Oh how long he waited for this day.

He grabbed his car keys, hugged his mom very tight one last time, and went to his car. He didn't have to think on where he'd go and stay, since he already knew who he can approach and go to.

Wonwoo.

He had helped him try to escape ever since he knew what happens to Mingyu everyday. Mingyu was still furious about what had happened earlier, hands gripping tightly on the steering wheel.

He arrived there after a few minutes and quickly got off the car. He just wanted to see Wonwoo and cry in his arms all day.

He knocked on his boyfriend's door without hesitating, yearning to see his face. When Wonwoo finally opened the door, Mingyu quickly wrapped his arms around Wonwoo.

He saw the luggages in the open trunk of Mingyu's car so he figured he was already out of the house. They had all of this planned to because they both knew that it would be too much for Mingyu to handle, he had to escape that damn house some day. Wonwoo embraced Mingyu back in a warm, tight hug.

"You did it Gyu, I'm proud of you." Wonwoo was smiling, he was proud of him.

"I got a broken ego, broken heart, God I didn't even know where to start." Mingyu said.

"Let's just forget all about the things that happened Gyu, You have to unpack you know? Let's start anew." Wonwoo pointed at the bags behind Mingyu's car.
"Yeah" Mingyu chuckled.

"I thought it was brutal out here, but I was wrong."
