Promises and Sleepovers| 7

Sabrina's POV:

It's now Friday and this whole week felt like a whole decade. I haven't even seen shawn at all, the wort thing is this affecting Aaliyah to because I'm really close to her but I can't just go over whenever. So I decided to invite Aaliyah over so she could sleep over.

"Mom, I'm going to invite Aaliyah over, ok?" I asked her at the door of her room

"Ok, honey but I need to talk to you..." she said with tight smile.

"Y-yeah" I stuttered a bit as I thought what bad things I had done.

"Karen called me today, and told me that she hasn't seen you over.. and I haven't seen shawn over, is something wrong?" She asked with a concerned face.

"Mom, didn't want to talk about it... but long story short we argued and we stopped talking..." I said looking down.

"I promise you will make up! Your known as Shawn and Sabrina! The best friends since before preschool!" She said with a reassuring smile.

"Thanks mom" I said. And walked back to my room.

I entered my room and called Aaliyah.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Hey Aali, I was wondering if you want to sleep over today" I asked.

" Yeah I would love to see you in a hour" she said sounding excited.

"Haha ok see ya then" I answered laughing.
I grabbed lots of blankets and pillows and put them on my floor.I built a little fort which included my computer for Netflix. Grabbed chips and many other unhealthy snacks we had and brought them up. I also got some drinks. I brought some bored games and movies that we both like.

~1 hour later~
"Hey Ri" she asked using the nickname I got when she started trying to pronounce my name when she was a baby.

"Hey girl, come on, I brought all the possible snacks I had haha" I said.

"This is gonna be good," she said happily.

~ after watching movies and playing~

"Umm Ri? Can I ask you something" I nodded my head for her to continue. "how come you and shawn stopped talking?" She said fading her sentence.

I explained to her everything that happened , for a 11 year old I feel like she is mature and understands me.

"He misses you, you know" she said looking up from her phone.

"He sure doesn't show it... I see him and he shows no emotion." I say upset.

"Well you did tell him you were done with him...." she said smiling so I wouldn't get mad. I laughed at her.

" I know it's just he is always all up in my business and when I finally find a guy I like he always says something bad about the guy but he can have like 10 girls flirting with him, and no one can say anything." I say pissed off.

"Ok. chill lets just go to sleep haha." she said changing the subject.

"Haha alright, night Liyah" I said.

"This was fun Im glad you invited me, and promise me no matter what happens with you and shawn you won't just stop talking to me, cause I was upset cause I had not seen you and like yeah..." she said trailing off.

"I promise Aaliyah whatever happens with me and shawn, is me and shawn I will always see you as my litter sister.
