Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke

Part 37

Haseena had divided everyone into pairs and asked them to cut the correct wires from underground. The bomb was actually multiple bombs that connected to each other to cause a huge blast. Everyone was working as fast as they could to dig out the wires and cut the right ones.

KarEena were also trying their best to diffuse the bomb,

KS: Maddam Sir, pehli baar aapko khatre me dekhkar khushi hui

HM: Huh?

KS: Nhi hamara mtlb tha abhi aapki jaan khatre me hai, lekin aap hamare saamne sahi salamat hai yeh dekhke khushi hui.....aise aarhe the hum (doing the hand gesture)

HM: Mmm... toh hum bhi zara aise aate hai (putting her arm around Karishma from the side)

Karishma smiled at her antics

KS: Aaj agar ye bomb phata aur hum na rahe toh aap waada kijiye humse ki aap sabka khayal rakhegi aur kabhi hamari kami mehsus nhi hone degi

HM: Khabardar jo hamare saamne aisi baate ki toh! Tum zinda rahogi aur sahi salamat sabke paas lautogi yeh hamara waada hai tumse.

KS glared at her

HM(rolling her eyes): Haan AAP sahi salamat lautengi sabke paas

Karishma gave a proud look and they continued working. But unknown to them, someone was listening to their talks.

MAN: Sasura bahut pyaar haina dono mein, ab dekhte jao kaise saara pyaar khatam karte hai hum! (smirks evilly)

The man leaves from there and goes back to where he was supposed to diffuse the bomb. A lady is working hard to cut the wires when he goes beside her and calls her to the side. They talk for a while and then the man hands over a bundle to the lady.

Lady: Fikar mat kijiye sir, kaam hojayega

Scene shifts back to KarEena who were still doing their best to diffuse the bomb. Many teams had succeeded in cutting the wires of their area and had arrived to help KarEena. While they were working, someone walkie talkie beeped. They answered and came back to the rest of the team to deliver the news

Random Officer: Cyber department se khabar aayi hai ki atankvadiyon ne charo taraf se hamla kiya hai. Surprise attack jaisa tha isliye kuch logo ki jaan chali gayi lekin boht se officers abhi bhi lad rhe hai.

Everyone looked at each other in worry, including KarEena

KS(barely audible): Anu bhaiya....

Karishma's mind flooded with insecurities. Anubhav was out there fighting, what if something happened to him? How would she live, how would Haseena live, how would the kids live, how would their family live...?

Haseena could read Karishma's eyes and she herself was also worried for her husband. Haseena put a hand on her shoulder reassuringly.

HM: Aap...chinta mat kijiye Karishma Singh, kuch nhi hoga Anu ko....

Karishma nodded but she wouldn't be fully assured until she saw Anubhav in front of her eyes. She tried her best to put the thought aside and continued working.

BGM: Teri Mitti Female Version (Sad)

Scenes shifted between the four teams fighting the terrorists, everyone diffusing the bomb, and the cyber department officers running back and forth trying to convey information from one site to another.

Officers ran here and there shooting bullets at the terrorists at every chance they got. Many succeeded in killing the terrorists, but some were shot. For every body that fell, a cry of pain from a team member was heard. Whether they knew each other or not, they were all in the police force and they were a team. Soon enough, heaps of lifeless bodies were scattered all over the ground.

Each pair diffusing the bomb was doing their best, as fast as they could. Beads of sweat ran down their face and the sky got darker making it harder to see. Soon, the sky was pitch black and the atmosphere was silent except for the sounds of officers cutting wires and running across the sand.

Song ends and the time shows 3:55 am.

Now the entire team is gathered around the main unit (the biggest bomb) still trying to diffuse the bomb. The tension increased among the team as the clock ticked its final few minutes before the bomb would go off. 3:56, 3:57, 3:58, they were still working. As soon as the clock ticked 3:59, Haseena cut the last wire and held up the pliers to show everyone they were done. A sigh of relief went through the team.

Everyone was cheering when Sakshi (wo pehle wali SHO) came running to them and called Karishma for help. The team was pretty big, so no one had realized they were missing a person. Sakshi claimed she had managed to diffuse the part of the bomb she was assigned but it looked odd to her. Karishma ran as fast as she could to check it out.

KS: Ama yaha toh sab thik hai, faltu me tension le rahi thi tum

SC: Haan faltu me tension le rahi thi mai, (her expression changes to a sneer) lekin tumhari Haseena sachme tension legi

Sakshi pulled out a little black ball from her pocket. She unwrapped the cloth and threw the ball near Karishma's feet.

SC: Jai Hind Karishma Singh (villian log bolte hai aisa)

Sakshi ran from there and before Karishma could understand what happened, the little black thing exploded loudly. The noise of the the explosion ran in everyone's ears for a few minutes until the noise died down. The rest of the team rushed over to see what happened. When they arrived a huge ring of fire had broken out.

Haseena ordered someone to call the fire brigade immediately. She looked all around to find Karishma, but she couldn't see her anywhere. Haseena kept looking and asked the others to help as well but no one could see her. The flames were already as high as their head so they couldn't even see on the other side. Finally the fire brigade arrived and extinguished the flames.

When the fire died out, everyone left but Haseena spotted a body in bomb protection gear lying there. She rushed to the body, wiped the fog from the face shield and looked at the face.

Time stopped for a moment as she stared down at the face of her best friend, her Karishma. She looked at her from head to toe, endless tears streaming down her face. The fire had burnt holes in Karishma's protection gear leaving burn marks on her skin. Haseena knew this mission was life-threatening and in the back of her mind she knew she might have to face this, but she wasn't ready for it. She wasn't ready to lose her world to a gandi saazish! Haseena wanted to kill Sakshi so badly but she wasn't anywhere in sight.

Hours passed, but Haseena wasn't ready to leave Karishma's side. Meanwhile, the rest of the teams came back from their alloted positions. Everyone met their team members rejoiced over the officers who were safe and mourned over the ones they lost.

Anubhav was there too, looking everywhere for KarEena. He finally spotted them at the bomb site. He saw Karishma and took a moment to process what happened. His baby sister was lying lifeless in front of his eyes and he couldn't do anything about it. He felt so helpless and guilty that he wasn't able to keep his sister safe. His gaze shifted to Haseena who was just as broken as him. He went beside her and put his arm around her to indicate he was here.

Haseena took one glance at him and immediately threw herself into his arms. They hugged each other and let their tears fall, pouring thousands of different emotions into the hug. After a while, they managed to console each other and wiped their tears. Haseena took off Karishma's protective gear and Anubhav picked her in his arms. They went back where everyone else was and met Santu. Santu's eyes welled up with tears seeing Karishma.

SS: Maddam Sir, yeh......

Haseena nodded in negative: K-Kuch nhi hua hai Karishma ko, abhi 2 min me uthke d-dialogue baazi shuru k-kardegi

She didn't know whether she was consoling herself or Santu, but it did give her some hope. They drove Karishma and took her to the nearest hospital. Anuseetosh (sabka naam likhne me aalas aarha, bear with me please) had stopped crying but they were sitting outside the hospital room with pale faces.

Haseena called home and narrated the entire story to them. Everyone was shocked and extremely scared but Haseena had ordered them all to stay home.

PS(crying): Nhi, nhi, hamari bahurani, hamari beti....hospital me hai....aur tum keh rhi ho milne na aaye

HM: Maa, shaant hojaiye please....hum hai na yaha..

PS: Lekin- Karishma....

HM(gulped down tears): Karishma ko kuch nhi hua...bas aag ke paas rehke behosh hui hai vo thodi der me thik hojayegi...

PS: Hume milna hai Karishma se! (tears streaming down her face)

HM: Maa aap roiye mat....jiju please sambhaliye maa ko, doctor abhi aa hi rahe hai unse baat hojayegi phir hum Karishma ko leke laut jayenge...

PS: Par-

Before Pushpaji could speak further, the doctor came out of the room.

HM: Hum baadme phone karte hai doctor aa gaye hai

Haseena was about to cut the call when Vyom interrupted

VS: Bhabhi chalu rakhiye hume bhi sunna hai

Doctor came up to Haseena and she demanded news of Karishma.

DOC:........
