"There's still a day before the registration so we'll stay in a hotel first." After entering the land of Atkinsons, the Ashdown's carriage went straight to a luxurious hotel. Mellisa and Matthew who weren't used to travelling for a long time, decided to rest in the hotel while Celestina went to look around the city with a knight.
"I'm Simon, pleasure to work with you my lady." Simon greeted her and guarded her throughout the city.
"Do you know how many people are here Sir Simon?" Celestina carelessly asked, she didn't expect an answer from the man but to her surprise, the man actually knew the answer.
Simon blinked and answered honestly "There are more or less nine hundred thousand people here in the whole Atkinsons but as for this city, I'm not very sure."
"Wow, how do you know that?"
Simon grew shy with her admiring stare and closed his eyes slightly and answered "All knights are required to study about geography, my lady. When I was assigned here, I was asked to restudy it."
Celestina couldn't help but smile, her smile appeared teasing to the shy knight and his face grew even redder, but his face suddenly turned grim and held out to Celestina as if shielding her and shouted "Watch out!".
With the help of his shielding, nothing hit Celestina but when she turn back, she saw a little girl who looked the same age as her. The girl wore a pink dress with lace decorations and her hair is styled very beautifully but her face looked very angry while staring at Sir Simon.
"Why did you push me?" She stood up and asked rudely while pointing her finger to Sir Simon.
Quick to his defense, Celestina hurriedly said "He didn't push you, he simply blocked you from pushing me. However it's indeed my fault for not looking properly, I apologize for that."
The girl's face calmed down and she stared at Celestina from up to down with a 'I look down on you' expression. "And who are you?"
"I'm Celestina Ashdown, I'm here for the academy." Celestina bowed slightly according to Mellisa's teaching, if the said girl's seeing this right now, she would be so proud.
"I'm Lisana. There's so many academy here, which academy are you going?" The girl asked.
'Lisana...?' Celestina's face changed five times after hearing her name. Lisana was the name of the female lead of this world. But how could she meet Lisana now? Wasn't Lisana from the capital? Why is she here? All kinds of thoughts went across her mind in no time and she could only stare at the girl in shock.
The girl's face changed from arrogance to anger and shook Celestina roughly while asking "What's with you face? It's as if you just saw a ghost! Answer me! Which academy are you going to?"
"...I'm going to Atkinsons Academy." Celestina answered after a pause. This female lead was too different from the female lead she read. Her female lead was suppose to be kind, warm and nice.
'Why's the child version of her so rude? No... Is she even the female lead? There must be other Lisana in this world...'
"Really? I'm going there too! Are you here to shop?" Lisana jumped in delight and clapped slightly, her action looked animated and very different from the rude her.
"No I'm just walking around..." Celestina almost couldn't handle the happy her. Lisana grabbed her hand and took her around even though Celestina didn't ask for it. She even bought the local food here and gave it to Simon and Celestina.
"The sun's setting soon, I have to go back. Byeee, see you in the academy!" Lisana held her food on her left hand and waved her right hand wildly.
"Bye!"
——
"How was the city?" Mellisa asked her."It's fun! I met a friend there, she said she will join the academy too."
"Really? You got a friend real fast." Matthew jumped from his bed and said sarcastically.
"I'm not lying! Simon met her as well." Celestina humped to Matthew's face and went to Mellisa.
"They have announced the registration time, it's at twelve tomorrow. Make sure to prepare well and we'll also go for our uniform fitting after the registration." Mellisa rambled on about their academy and what they need to pay attention to. Celestina smiled at the little 'mom' and looked at the 'kid' across her who won't stop swinging his legs.
'Are they really from the same womb? Well, Matthew isn't that bad, Mellisa is just too good.'
"Are you both listening?" The little 'mom' glared at both of them and asked.
"Yes of course!" Celestina and Matthew unconsciously answered at the same time with the same words and the same intonation.
"Good, remember it well." And with that, Mellisa closed her suitcase and took out her romance novel.
"How many weeks has she spent reading that book?" Matthew whispered to Celestina.
"I think she has read that for about two weeks and she has been re-reading for three times." Celestina watched Mellisa read her romance novel for two weeks straight and was sick of that book.
"How did she keep on reading the same book? I mean, we all know what's gonna happen next. The prince will meet the heroine and will fall in love in first meeting and then they will live happily ever after. That's the point of the book." Matthew said with a 'duh' face.
"That's not just it. There much more to it, an idiot like you will never know." Mellisa hit Matthew's head with her hard covered book.
"This might help you to understand it well." Matthew groaned and cried out while holding his head, "What are you hitting me for? Why don't you hit Celestina instead?"
"Celestina's different from you, what does a rascal like you know?" Matthew's ear grew red and he shout out in frustration, "Idiot, rascal, what's next huh? You really got a great vocabulary for me."
Mellisa looked at him in annoyance and he instantly shut up. He stomped loudly and fall back to his bed.
Celestina thought back to Lisana, 'If she's really the female lead, will that ruin the time-line? But the time-line is already ruined, I guess that's okay...'
Even after reassuring herself for many times, she couldn't help but feel scared.
'Will I ever go back? There must be a way for me to get back... but if my body there is already dead, I have to stay here forever then?'
And she woke up with a nightmare the next day.
