𝐓𝐄𝐍 - 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐌𝐄 ?

it had just been a few days since the boat trip , me and mason had been spending time together , today was our 1 year of being together , we decided to go out on a date today but i had no clue where we was going to go , we decided to have breakfast at a local outside bar that overlooked onto the beach nearby, i had gotten a slush puppy as i didn't feel like drinking any drinks when i had first woken up , i was sitting on a sofa on my phone until i heard "love , are you there" from a familiar voice which turned out to be masons , i had zoned out of my trance and started drinking i stuck my coloured tongue out to mason to somewhat "flex" that he didn't have a coloured tongue , he stuck his out hoping he'd had a coloured one from the pornstar martini he'd just drank i giggled at him knowing he didn't have one , he slowly put his tongue away and looked down in disappointment i put my arms around his neck and ruffled his hair , both of his arms around my waist , I pulled his chin up and gave him a quick peck saying "i love you" into his lips he whispered back "i love you more" and pulled me onto his lap to indicate that he wanted more kisses , luckily no one was anywhere near us they was just all blasting music on the beach.

we had ran onto the beach and just had the best time suiting the energy of the others , "do you wanna go back to the villa ?" mason asked into my ear "sure I need to get ready" i replied , we had driven back to the villa and i heard mason shouting from the bottom of the stairs "LOOK YOUR BEST !!" he said whilst running up "okay ! now can i get changed ?" i asked with the perfect outfit in my hand.

i wore a long navy blue dress that had crossovers right by my neck i did my hair in a half up half down hair style and curled it , i put on some natural makeup and paired some subtle jewellery with it , i walked down to see mason and a bouquet of flowers in his hand looking at me in awe , he was wearing a black and white suit and looked his best as always "you look.. amazing" he said stuttering "not so bad yourself" i said confidently.

we had driven to this fancy restaurant the waiters took us to the bottom floor outside which could see all the beach on.

we had finished up our food and i noticed something on the beach , i couldn't quite make out what it was all i could see is the sunset and some candles "hey , mason what's that over there?" i questioned "idk let's go look" he answered with no hesitation , mason had left money on the table for the bill and we walked up to the thing , it was a decoration with candles on the floor and a mini cloth on the middle.

i stood in the middle and examined it all before looking back at mason , he held my hands lightly and looked me in the eyes
"ivy i've known your for 1 year , that one year ago i thought there was no hope of me ever finding love and standing here today , and now look at me with the love of my life , you've brought joy and happiness , i can't thank you enough you mean the world to me words can't even describe,  i always call you 'mrs mount' thinking that id never actually make you it but today's the day, so ivy will you marry me?" he got down on one knee and stood there with a glistening silver ring
i stood there in shock with tears filled in my eyes , "yes yes yes and yes !!" i screamed , mason had put the ring on my finger and picked me up and threw me in the ocean "what was that for?" i shouted "is the temperature okay?" he asked i rolled my eyes sarcastically and swam back knowing he was about to jump in.

"need to announce this !" i said enthusiastically "it's going to my finsta first then to my main" i said to myself knowing this was something that didn't need planning out
