it was masons birthday today , i woke up earlier than him so i could set up everything, i had the balloons and presents all in place all i had to do is make breakfast , luckily i knew what to make and how to make it.
i made pancakes with blueberries and strawberries surrounding the pancakes, i checked my phone and saw it was 10:15am , i slowly opened the door to see mason wide awake on his phone "hey youu" i said to mason whilst walking into the ensuite , i start brushing my teeth and hear no response until i feel his arms wrap around me , i spit the stuff from brushing my teeth out and i look up to see him smiling at me In the mirror "hey beautiful" he whispers in my ear "so am i allowed to go downstairs now because every time i wanted water you would always need to go down ??" he questions whilst i turn myself around to look him in the eyes with my arms around his neck "get changed then we can" i smile at him , he sighs and i pat his chest and walk away.
i decided to do no makeup today as i wasn't wearing makeup for the past few days n i honestly felt way more myself , i wore a lilac tracksuit and did my hair in a middle french braid and paired it with a gold watch , a black bag and just some simple jewellery , i walked back out and mason jumped off the bed and threw the controller down forgetting about fifa completely and came and gave me a hug "can we go now pleaseee" he begged "come on then !!" i dragged him down and he looked down in awe forgetting to even walk down the stairs "am i gonna have to pick you up ?" i said sarcastically , he quickly ran to down and to the table and pulled out my chair for me "your sweet" i said "i know i know" flattering himself , i had left a small note by his breakfast "can i read this now ?" he asked "read it out loud" i replied.
Dear Mason, happy birthday gorgeous, i can't believe your 23 today , you've made me happy from the moment you decided to ditch Ben and Declan at the bar to come and talk to me.
without you in my life i don't know what id be doing or who id be celebrating with or if it ever felt right, but im so glad that every bit of this journey ive never felt that it should be with anyone else.
ive watched you cry you've watched me cry ive watched you laugh you've watched me laugh ive seen your dips you've seen my dips
and so much more , i can't wait to conquer and celebrate new things together mason.

i looked at him and smiled "soo?" he had tears in his eyes and just got up and hugged me which set me off to , we both looked at each other and wiped the tears of each other's faces and began eating, "when are you due for england training?" i asked "just a few days" he replied.
we began to open masons presents "any specific order?" he asked "uhm, open those ones last" i pointed at the medium and small presents , he sectioned them off from the rest and began opening, i basically filmed every time he opened a present and his reaction i was the type of person that would always say "film it or it never happened" which you could say was true.
it was time for the two main presents "anyone first" i said , he began opening the medium present "babe, how did you know i wanted these ?" he held up a pair of royal blue jordans "im like that mason and you can ask anyone i didn't ask" i said , he put the shoe back in the box carefully and came and gave me a huge hug with more tears in his eyes , "i think your gonna set me off with this one yk" i said , he went over to the box and unwrapped it on the front it read "rolex" , he didn't even open the box all it took was a read of a word for him to start crying , he was never the type that was flashy or would buy flashy stuff and show it off , "your too smart to know ive always wanted this" , i shrugged my shoulders and looked at him , "there's more later when the boys come" it's a joint present from basically all your family , the boys and me , "what time are they coming ?" he asked "2:00pm" i replied.
2pm had hit , the boys had just arrived and now it was time for the joint present "right mason I'm gonna come with you follow meee" i said excitedly, "go to the place where we had our first argument" mason read on the note , he went to the bathroom "only cuz you cant clean you hairs when you wash your hair" i hit his arm jokingly and he read out the next note "go to the place where our favourite moment was JUST shared (just meaning a few minutes ago)" he went to the living room and read out the next one "go to the place where we keep all our cars" he walked to the garage , me still with him "final challenge go to the place where you told me about the England call up" he read out loud , we ran up the stairs and went to the living room and saw all the boys lying on the bed with keys in a rose petal heart "wha-" he cut himself off "no you didn't" he ran to the driveway and saw an all blacked Mercedes sitting on the driveway "i love you all so much" he said to the boys and me "there's another note inside it but that's the last one" i said giggling he pulled out the note which read "come take me to see your family today ? :) - i x" "of course I will is that even a question?" He said whilst hugging me.

the boys had left by now and we was on our way to masons parents place to see him mum and dad, "babe wake up" i heard a croaky voice in my ear i slowly open my eyes "we are here love" he says , i get out the car and hold masons hand we knock on the door "oh hello you two !!" "hi mr & Mrs mount !" I reply "i promise you don't need to keep calling us that when we see you" me and mason stepped in the door and took our shoes off , mason went straight over to his dad whilst i just greeted his dad and stayed with His mum, me and her a lot closer compared to me and masons dad.
after a good talk about masons football and my career we walk up the stairs and head to masons boyhood room i looked around , the walls were white , medals were framed and t shirts was hung up on the wall in frames "everything's still in the same place" he said , i pulled out my pjs plopped on the bed and fell asleep with mason hugging me.
"goodnight my love , i love you thank you for the best gifts ever which is you being you", mason said calmly
"goodnight pretty , i love you more and your the best man ever" i replied.
NOTE : two updates that took me basically all day !! pls follow as this story is coming to an end soon and i will be making another story about jack grealish and one possibly about Phil foden & chilly too !
