It was yet another rough day for YN.

The girl returned home from yet another job rejection due to raise of worldwide pandemic.

Living alone at the just age of eighteen wasn't exactly her plan. Not being able to make friends wasnt exactly her plan. Not being alone in the time of isolation wasn't her plan.

YN lived in the Hollywood with her mother who worked in the industry, with her little sister.

Her mum was Graphic designer and worked with major franchise like Marvel and stuff around it. She earned enough to survive in such an expensive city with two girls, and they didn't had to work. They just had enough and they were happy.

YN lived with her family in USA for just about two years. Her mum got transferred to the HQs and they moved to live in State for just three years, all the way from India.

She had everything. A loving mother. An annoying yet very sweet sister. A great home to shelter in. Warm food on her plate each meal. Best education, best healthcare. A life she was so, so, so grateful of and never took for granted. But life did a full one-eighty for her for when they were on their way back home from LAX from their trip to New York. A little vacation her Mummy planned for her Eighteenth birthday week.

They got into a car accident on the highway. Resulting the loss of her only family.

Her sister passing away on the scene due to severe brain bleeding and her mum day after due to heart failure. Leaving her to be the only one surviving, with a broken left arm and a few other mild injuries. Even their cab driver couldn't make it.

She had no one near by. To even help her carry out funeral of her loved ones. She was helped by complete strangers, carrying out rituals according to her culture. It broke her heart even more.

She was indeed her Mummy's girl. She was Eighteen grown up enough to look after herself. She still needed her mother by her side. She was literally her comfort person. Growing up she was her only best friend, just because YN always struggled to make friends or even connections. She was very silent and quiet almost everytime one would see her. She said, she liked to mind her own business, but deep down she really found it excruciatingly difficult to be vulnerable in order to make friends. But it was whole another thing now.

She was traumatised after her boyfriend of two years broke up with her. The guy was significantly older than her. She was just sixteen when the guy was twenty-two when they started dating, colleague of her mum. She met him over dinner at her house when her mum invited few of her colleagues for meal. Her mum was very generous like that, always having people over for meals, keeping good friendships. Heck even her ten year old sister was good at making friends but she wasn't.

She was scared and heartbroken after he broke up with her, because, he was tired of babying her, hearing her talk when she hardly talked. He broke up with her just a week before her Eighteenth birthday. That's when her mother decided to take her out on a little break, they called it a vacation in true Indian fashion, thinking it would get her mind off the guy she fell so hard for.

Her mum warned her about potential heartbreak before hand. It was of course wrong for her to be dating a significantly older guy, and her mum never approved of her relationship. She didn't even know her daughter was dating someone until six months. YN was in huge trouble but she was really into her rebellious teenage phase where she hated her mum so much. For not approving her relationship with an adult man when she was a minor. Her mum tried her best to keep her out of the trouble which would come with that.

But YN was just so blindly in love with his guy. Though her then boyfriend he never took bad advantage of her (she didn't know how lucky she was with that), it was still a horrible break up for her. He never forced her to do anything, as if he truly and deeply cared for her. Maybe he did. But then why did she broke up with her? Oh yeah, he had his reasons.
