Trip to the wild side

"what destination?"I ask anxiously.

"Don't you want it to be a surprise hun" my mom responds.

Of course I like surprises

"Totally"I say excitement killing me .

After something like an hour drive, we reach this fancy area .These houses are extremely beautiful I can't even imagine living in one of these.

But wait what are we even doing in an area filled with fancy houses we don't even live this side??

"Uuhmm mum, what are we doing in an area filled with gorgeous houses?"I inquire after a battle with myself if I should ask or not

Well you know ....what if it's the surprise!!!

"Checking them out"she mutters in a calm tone.

"Ok"is all I manage to say .

Well what more can I say? the whole time I thought I was getting a huge surprise I could even faint .

After something like a ten minute drive 'through this place, we pull up to a huge silvery shiny gate.

The gates I have climbed in my life , I don't think I can even go halfway of this one.

Mum gets out of the car and reaches for a small box and opens it with some tiny keys she gets from her purse.

From a distance she looks like she is typing in a code and after a few minutes later, the large gate opens itself automatically.

"Woooooowwww" I gasp and my jaw drops.

"Dumbass shut that hole "Belle points out

I hadn't even noticed I was starting to drool over something so small like that

"Elaine Kara Johnson you are embarrassing me!"mum exclaims before pulling me out of my reverie

"Sorry mum " I replied feeling extremely embarrassed

We drive into a clean reserved space probably the parking lot with a few other cars parked there

"This place looks so elegant and stunning"I comment absent mindedly

"Girl, talk about it!!" Belle adds

The cars aren't that many so I catch a glance of a blue motor bike which looks a bit new

I wish it was mine

"Uuhmm Belle and Elle , do you mind getting out?"my mum shouts from a distance.

She left us in the car while we were drooling over a motor bike!!!

"Yeah sure mum just a sec"I say while Belle and I exit the car and race to reach where my mum is

I think all the food I ate is all exhausted by just this two minute race

"I wiinnn" Belle screams so loud like a kid who just beat her dad in a spelling bee competition of the word 'cat.'

"Congs "I reply in a bored tone

"I know about this you should be jealous coz your mum just gave the last piece of candy she had on her"she replies with a wide smile plastered on her face

"That's not fair!"I say directing to no one specifically.

"I don't think life is fair too"my mum replies proudly.

"Well it should be sometimes, mommy you know running ain't my thing!!"while making a puppy face

"Sorry dear but the sweet is gone already"she tells me with this look of 'that puppy face your making ain't giving off anything'

By this time we are reaching the the entrance of the house .

"Btw mum you didn't tell me why we are checking out these houses"I bring back the topic.

"Because I wish to"she replies in a sarcastic tone

"Ok " am left speechless I think for the second time.

We stand in front of large white oak doors and proceed to head in though the most surprising part is that the door is open already!!

She opens the door and this place is real pitch black dark!!

Oh no ... Am afraid of the dark

"Mrs. Johnson why is this place so dark?"

"Because I haven't switched the lights on" she says while she enters alone

Well we are cowards what if that is trap  though it can't be a trap if mum can walk in alone

"The cowards I came with , do you mind entering inside" mom damends while poking her head outside

"Yeah we do !"we yell in unison

"Okay then am closing you outside , I guess you will find your ways to the places you will stay for the night " she snickers while attempting to close the door

"Okay we shall enter " I say confidently

"Yeah we are going in " Belle decides to back me up

"Then enter"
"What??"
"Enterrrrrrrr"
"I thought we were joking !!"
"Okay goodbye"

This time mommy says with a serious face attempt to close us outside and before she closes completely-

"Ok ok ok "I blurt while we jumping inside

SURPRISE!!!!!!!!

The light goes on the instant we jump in and I almost get a heart attack

Everyone is just all smiles and at that moment I feel the happiest anyone could feel  coz everyone is around grandma, grandpa, aunt Roseline , my friends ...... so many I can't even name the only question is how they managed to all get out of school at once .

"Thanks guys" I say smiling ear to ear while hugging everyone .

LET THE PARTY BEGIN!!!!!!!! 

The DJ announces and the music starts booming
Five minutes later

"Wanna grab a drink" Belle screams while competing with the loud music

"Yeah why not?"I scream back

"Because we don't know  why there is a party" she yells louder

"Well we don't need to know as long as it's party" I yell back

We head to the counter and start taking shots and after something like 10 minutes the music stops and then I spot my mum with a microphone.

"Good evening everyone,i just want only 2 minutes of your time then  we will continue with the party. Most of you don't know why we are holding a party while some know so I wanted to give everyone the good news officially"my mum begins.

"My daughter and I are moving into this house officially -

"I love you Mommyyyyyyyy"I yell on top of my lungs.

"Love you too dear"she says with a wide smile

"Ok as I was saying , we are moving in today officially and this the welcome party , thank you all for coming , enjoyyy"

After her speech I run through the crowds to give my mom a huge hug

"Thank you thank you thank you Mommy I love so much" I tell my mum while giving her a bone breaking hug

We almost fell to the floor together

"Love you too my baby, this is our home now , I got a big promotion at work so I decided to get something that could make us both happy "

"Thank you mommy , I love you so much , this is the most amazing thing ever  , love you so much "I tell her while giving her a kiss on the cheek .

We hug for something like 2 minutes and then pull away

"Dear , this is for you, it's all yours " she says a tear trying to escape her eyes

"Oh mum don't be like this, it's time to have fun come let's go and enjoy" I tell while wiping her tear away and pulling her into the crowds.

We keep partying for the rest of the night till I black out .
