chapter 12

When I arrived at home, I was feeling sleepy so when mom dropped me off at the gate, I just walked straight to the house and fell on the soft couch in the living room. Then drifted off to sleep.

When I woke up and looked at the wall clock, i realised that I had slept  for 2 hours .
I lazily stood up to head to my room and clean up then I guess eat something while I wait for mom to come back home.

While I was walking to the stair case I smelt an amazing aroma come from the kitchen so I thought it was mom. Well greeting her wouldn't be bad.

"Whoaaahhh"I shrieked in surprise
"Oooohh" he shouted back and I think I saw him jump a lil bit.
"Who are you?"
"Alexander "
"What the hell are you doing in my house?"
"Your house?"
"Yes my house"

"First calm down and I explain everything"
"Ok"I grabbed a vase and then walked to the seats next to the counter"
" Hey,Put that down"
"Oh please, you are a total stranger , don't think for a minute that am trusting you."

"Chill out already , am  a cousin"
"Cousin?"
"Yeah well"
"How come I don't know you?"I asked though in the back of my mind I clearly didn't know any of my cousins. This one was hot though.

"How am I supposed to know if you know me or not because I didn't know you too?"
"Well am Elaine "
"I know"
"How "
"Your mom told me "
"Why"
"Because am going to start living here."
"What!"
"Well yeah, that's it. "
"Why"
"Long story"
"Am listening"
"Well, I got expelled from my former school."he said while his hot face saddened a bit.

"Back up your horses bro because this is interesting , don't leave out a single detail."I smiled a bit .
"Well I got into a fight , it wasn't even my damn fault, the dude just kept poking my anger bubble and I was fed up so I decided to act."he explained while looking sad even more.

"Just that"
"No, I have always been a criminal and they were looking for a kinda valid reason to get me out of the school"he was smirking now which made his sentence explain itself though the sadness in his eyes didn't fade.

"Well , it wasn't your fault "I told him in a calming voice and I actually meant it.
"U actually believe it wasn't "
"Yes"
"Why?"
For a moment I hesitated telling him about my expulsion too though it felt like we were in the same boat but he cut in before I could continue.

"Well you know , no one actually believed me that it wasn't my fault when I told them the story except my best friend Ezekiel and I think my mom, worst case is that all this was a plot to get me out of school" he said with sad eyes.

"Hey don't look like that , I believe you didn't do it"I advised with a small smile.
"That's what they all say but deep down they don't mean it"he replied still with his sad face.

"That's not what am saying right now though you might want to first switch off the gas then I tell you"I mentioned.

Well that innocent food wasn't getting wasted because of some talk

He switched it off then came to sit opposite me . He really was hot hot.

"I actually believe you because it happened to me too."I confessed.
"No way!! , you got expelled from your former school  also?, because you look like the good kid kind. "He joked.

"Why would you say that?"I asked .
"Well because when I entered you were sleeping so I thought u were the good girl kind who didn't want to cause trouble when mommy is away" he reported with a smirk.

"Well the story coming will make you go back on your words"
"Bring it on"
"You were a bad boy right?"
"Let's just say bully"
"Yeah well that was me some time back though I had stopped the bully thing and It was just an independent duo of trouble consisting of me and my best friend"I began.
