I wandered back into the campgrounds and saw a crowd of Survivors milling around in various states of activity. Claudette was kneeling on the floor in front of someone, a medkit open on the ground next to her. I frowned and moved closer, worry quickening my pace.

Dodging around several people, I made my way toward Claudette until I crashed into a small body, knocking the person over. They let out a quiet whimper of pain and I started apologizing, glancing down to see who I bumped into. "Oh my god, I'm so sor-" I saw Feng on the ground, covered in blood and sweat with a shallow gash that cut diagonally across her back, bleeding profusely.

"Holy fuck, Feng!!" I cursed in fear as I crouched beside her. I rambled apologies under my breath as I hovered over her. I wanted to help, but I didn't want to hurt her any further so my hands ended up flexing repeatedly from stress. I took a better look at her back as she lay quietly where she had fallen.

The wound stretched from the top of her right shoulder to the left side of her back. It was shallow but still oozing blood, and it had a mix of sweat, pus and grime clinging to the ripped edges of her soaked Lazer Bears jersey. Feng's eyes were closed and she was breathing slowly. I carefully held her hand and looked around frantically for a medkit or someone to help.

I searched for Claudette and saw that she was finished patching Dwight up. It looked like he had been hooked, judging from the blood and bandages on his left shoulder. I waved and called out until I got Claudette's attention. I motioned toward Feng and Claudette's eyes widened as she snapped the medkit shut and headed our way swiftly.

As she arrived, I shifted out of her way and she knelt next to Feng's side. She raked her eyes over Feng's back, murmuring sympathetically and her hands flipped the medkit open once more. While Claudette rummaged through the medkit, I focused on Feng's breathing and I stroked her small hand gently. It involuntarily closed around my knuckles and I looked down in surprise.

Feng's eyes were open, cloudy with pain and focused on me. She gave my hand a soft squeeze and whispered something. I couldn't hear her, so I laid down and put my ear next to her mouth.

"Fucking Frank..." Feng coughed slightly and didn't say anything else. I looked at her, confused, and then glanced at Claudette. Her eyes were narrowed in concentration as she expertly worked on patching up Feng's back, hands moving swiftly and surely. I glanced back at Feng and saw her eyes were shut once more, her hand had gone limp in mine.

She looked so small and vulnerable laying there with the nasty gash on her back. If I ever got in a Trial with this Frank, I'd slam him with so many pallets, he'd be seeing stars. I stood up and backed away to allow Claudette better access to Feng's wounds and headed toward my tent.

As I walked away with angry strides, I heard several Survivors start yelling in surprise, but ignored them. Suddenly, my chest felt like it was being painfully squeezed. As I looked down, I saw the familiar, cursed black Fog slithering around my torso. I twisted around sharply to see who else had been taken and I saw Jake, Bill and Yui all with black Fog curling around them as my vision went dark.

When I was finally able to see, my eyes were met with a small, Japanese house that was heavily overgrown with vegetation and broken down. I was standing on a dirt path directly in front of the porch, so I crept inside the house after glancing around to make sure I was alone. Spotting a generator up against a wall, I carefully stepped over some cushions that were laying randomly on the floor and got to work.

I kept a sharp eye and ear out for anyone else but for a while, the only thing I heard was the soft mechanical clicks and hums from the gen. It had been too quiet, so I was starting to feel uneasy. Usually someone had been found or injured by now, so I was beginning to suspect it might be one of the stealth killers and I was being stalked.

I completed the gen and rapidly crouched behind a wall as my heartbeat began increasing steadily. I froze as I heard soft footsteps approach the newly completed generator. Sliding my eye to a crack in the wall, I caught a glimpse of the Killer.

The first thing I noticed was how small they were, they looked to be around my height. I was surprised, since most of the Killers were significantly taller then the Survivors. I then noticed the pink Christmas hoodie, red mini skirt and dirty Converse. So this Killer was a girl, and she had Converse, of all shoes! Those were were modern shoes so she couldn't be too much older than me.

She walked toward the gen, and started searching the ground nearby, looking for any trace of the Survivor who had completed the gen. As she turned toward my hiding spot, I stifled a gasp as I saw her mask. It was a bloodstained mess, with a few large cracks running down the middle and splitting at the bottom, with what looked like stitches holding the pieces together.

She cocked her head to the side and seemed to listen as if she heard a voice in her ear. A bloodied, strangely curved knife hung loosely in her hands as she tapped it rhythmically against her thigh. After a short pause, she straightened up and stalked out of the room with a slinky, predatory gait, head swinging from side to side, ever on the lookout for prey.

I waited till my heartbeat faded and exhaled quietly. She had been a little too close for comfort. As I left the house and headed down a dirt path to look for another gen, I thought about how strange I had felt around this Killer. I was always interested in the Killers, but I'd felt a weird connection to this one in particular.... I didn't know why and it unsettled me.

Shaking my head, I focused on my task and crouched next to a generator I spotted nearby and began repairing it. I heard some grass rustling behind me and whirled around, ready to run, but relaxed once I saw Yui  crouching up to me. She noticed my reaction and smiled a tad playfully as she started repairing the gen with me.

"Good reflexes," she stated as we toiled.  "If I was the Killer, I'd have only had a few seconds to catch you." I shook my head and replied, "I saw the Killer not too long ago, so I'm still kinda jumpy." I reached up and fiddled with a lever before continuing. "It seemed to be a shorter female with a knife and a mask. I was surprised she wasn't super tall like the rest of the Killers, honestly."

Yui chuckled quietly and said, "Yeah, sounds like it's one of the Legion girls. They're a couple of the shorter Killers, along with the Hag, Nightmare and Ghostface."

I nodded as I digested that information. As Yui and I got closer to completing the gen, we heard the distinctive sound of another gen being fully repaired. Shortly after that, a raspy male voice screamed in pain and we saw the brief flash of red that always meant someone was hooked. Yui and I exchanged a worried glance but continued to work since we were almost finished.

As we neared completion, our heartbeats suddenly started pounding in our chests and my spine tingled strangely. I whipped my head up and saw the Killer running at us from a short distance away, knife held high and closing on us quickly. I looked at Yui briefly, telling her with my eyes to finish the gen and she nodded her understanding as I got up and started running for my life.
