Maya: Wanna come to a party tonight with Andrew and me?

Farkle: Who?

Riley: Maya's new friend who took her to the art gallery today

Maya: You guys coming?

Smakle: No I don't do "parties" especially not on a school night

Farkle: I'm studying with Smakle tonight

Riley: I can't peaches I'm watching Auggie tonight

Zay and Lucas leave the message on read.....

Maya: Lucas? Zay?

Maya: Come on I don't got all day you coming or not

Meanwhile at Zay's kitchen while he and Lucas are doing homework and they receive the message 

"We going to that party with Maya?" Zay asks.

"I don't think I'm in the mood to party Zay," he responds

"Ok so just me and her just like old times. Except for that guy, I'll ask to take Klani with me so I don't the third wheel"  he adds

"What  guy?" he responds aggressively.

"Andrew, her friend who took her to that art thing today"

Lucas face completely changed Zay could see a frowned forehead form on his best friend in just a mention of another guy

"What's wrong?" with a smirk on his face almost as if he knew the reason

"Nothing is wrong" Lucas responded trying to play it off

"Well you should tell that to your face then" Zay remarked as a small laugh escaped

Lucas sends a death stare to his friend, Zay levitates his shoulders and sends his hands in the air. 

"Aye man, just telling the truth" Zay adds

" I just don't like the guy ok" 

"And why not? Riley does and Maya too. The only person that seems to have a problem with him is you?" Zay says upset with the situation

"I just don't like him for Maya," he adds defensively

"Why not. If she is happy that should be enough"

"I don't want her getting hurt"

" Mhm now you don't" slipped his mouth he knew almost instantly what he had said

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing"

"Look Zay I'm not sure what you're implying here, but the triangle thing was a decision made by everyone," Lucas says defensively

"Was it really?" he said realizing that he had said too much once again

"Yeah, it was Maya wasn't being herself remember. She never liked me herself."

"And you seriously believe that?"

"Yes, she said it herself remember" in a high pitched voice

"So she was not breaking rules anymore or being rebellious and that makes her Riley? She couldn't have just matured a little. I don't believe that 'she wasn't herself' BS. Isn't the secret of life that people change people? Ever stop to think that?"

The room grows silent maybe a moment of realization. Zay had probably lost Maya's trust after all he said and Lucas, his mind was all over the place. Was this true? Why would that matter if he was with Riley and he loved her, right?

Back on the group chat

Maya: OK I'll take that as a no 

Lucas: No no we're coming with 

At Zay's house 

"We going?" shocked

"Yeah, I gotta go see this guy" in a stern voice

"Just let it go, Lucas," Zay says annoyed at the situation

" Let it go? After everything you just said?"

"Why does it matter you are with Riley. you love Riley Riley is your girlfriend. You have put her through enough already. Look I said too much already" Zay adds with regret.

"I don't know Zay" He adds with genuine cofusion of what he feels.

"You can't do this again Lucas... You made your choice." Zay adds 

Groupchat:

Maya: OK well see you there then we are already on our way

*Maya sends her location*

NOTE: Sorry for the delay it took longer for me to write than I anticipated, but I hope you liked this chapter/episode. I initially brought in Andrew as a way to introduce Josh into the story, Now with that being said, I am starting to like the character. I kinda want to explore him a little more, but what do you think? Would you like to bring in Joshaya too (for a little or possibly making them endgame)?
