Chapter 10

Aether smiled when he saw his twin walking up with Childe while chatting as usual. Rosaria and Keqing checked Lumine's expression. When they saw her relaxed state, they let down their guards and had fun with the others. The group spent hiking the entire day.

Currently, they are playing with fireworks under the starry night sky.

"Did you get it?", Barbara asked Venti with a sparkler in her hand.

"Yep! It looks perfect!", he nodded back with a smile.

They were trying to capture some music notes written with sparklers on camera.

"Let me see", she said and got closer.

He showed her the photo, "see? No flaw."

"Wow! You are right! You are really good at this. Thanks, I will make you anything you want", she smiled when she saw a photo of her with treble clef note made of sparkler.

"Then, I want to write a duet with you. We never got to do together in college projects", he gave her a puppy eyes.

"A duet? I'm not sure if I am as good as you are", she frowned a little.

"Hey, you are the best for me and I want to make it with you only. Can't we?", he tilted his head and asked her.

"I-If you think so, I want to make it with you, too", she blushed and answered shyly.

He grinned widely and held her hand, "it is a date, then."

"Eh? D-date?", her blushing intensified.

"Hey! Stop making her blush. She looks redder than her chilibrews", Hu Tao cut in with some more sparklers in her hands. And as usual, Venti and Hu Tao started to argue about her interruption with Barbara in between.

"Hey, Hu Tao! Bring back the lighter! Ours is busted", Keqing called out to them.

"Coming!", Hu Tao replied and took Barbara with her to the girls. Venti pouted at them with a sulking face. Then, he found boys with some firecrackers and smoke bombs in their hands waving at him. He caught their evil grins and understood what they're planning so he replied with his own evil smirk.

Dain took lighter from Hu Tao and lit up some fountain fireworks.

"Wow! These are really pretty!", Amber exclaimed.

"Well, they did cost more than 5000 mora so yeah, they'd better be", Rosaria shrugged but her eyes showed that she's enjoying the fireworks.

"Do you think we can take photos with it? Would they be blurred?", Signora asked.

"We can try", Lumine answered and shot a flawless pleading smile at Dain.

He caught her pleading graze and prepared his camera to take photos for them wordlessly. She high-fived with Amber and prepared fireworks to take photos.

"Only three left. Are these the last ones?", Amber counted the fireworks.

"Yeah, so let's not waste these away without some good photos, ok?", Dain said and readied his camera.

"I'm going to light them up now. Go take places", Lumine urged her friends.

The girls took places with fountain fireworks began to light up in background. Lumine rushed to pose after she had lit them up.

As Dain was going to take photos, several firecrackers popped nearby which startled the girls and smoke bombs covered the view.

Dain lowered his camera and looked to the side with a sigh, "I knew you guys were silent for some reason."
